I made a sweet little card for the Challenge over at Hero Arts, Bright And Bold.
The Hero Arts image is, Spring Tulips, colored with watercolor pencils, sentiment from their Everyday Sayings stamp set. I also dabbed different colors all around the image, it looks pretty good in real life, and adds quite a bit of contrast. A partial cut of a doily adhered to the back of the focal image, 2 eyelets and enamel brads as accents. Inside uses an MFT Open Bracket Border.
I'm so happy to be coloring flowers and playing with bright, bold colors......aren't you?
Thanks for popping in!Enjoy~~
YES! I am definitely glad to be using bright sunny colors, like yours here. And those pretty dots of color around the edges give such great texture, tying everything together. That IS a sweet little image, and you colored it perfectly!!!

ReplyDeleteThe BG that you did reminds me of colorful spring rain drops on the freshly picked tulips. Love the doily peeking out of the side. Just fresh and beautiful.
