Good Morning!
This card will be entered into the
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes Challenge!
Hubby turns 60 on Monday and since we do live on Cape Cod
and since he is very timeless, I thought this would be a perfect
card to celebrate this wonderful man of mine!
I inherited these dies from a dear crafting friend, Kathy,
sadly she is no longer with us, but her crafting lives on!
Miscellaneous dies:
Oar, Life Ring and Ship's Wheel, all layered twice.
Anchor--on inside.
PTI Men Of Life Designer Paper.
Gina K Designs Time To Coast stamp set (image and 2 sentiments).
Tuxedo Black ink.
Clear Embossing Powder.
Tuxedo Black ink.
Sakura Glaze Pen.
Inside.
This card measures 5.5" x 5.5", so I had to make an envelope.
Thanks for stopping in!
Enjoy~~

Oooh, I love this! It's a great masculine card and I love the frame you made using the oars. So sweet that these were some of Kathy's dies too. Makes it all the more special.
ReplyDeleteReally fabulous card, Tom is going to love it. And I love that you used Kathy's dies. Every time we use one I think of her and smile. So clever to use the boat paddles as a frame, and the wheel and life saver add so much. Great coloring too, this card is just stellar!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I sure do miss having you play along at Word Art Wednesday, Donna. I hope you'll come join us again soon.

You have put these dies from Kathy to creative use and made a wonderful and meaningful birthday card for Tom. He doesn’t look 60! Happy Birthday, Tom!
ReplyDelete๐๐๐this!! You combined the dies and stamp perfectly! I saw this on the SSS Wednesday Challenge and came by for a closer look. I host a new challenge, Park Hopping My Happy Place Challenge. It is an anything goes inspired by a theme park. Your nautical theme reminds me of Adventure Cove at Drayton, Manor in Staffordshire, UK. I invite you to come join the fun! Have a creative week.
