Home And Sympathy

 Good Morning

This 1st card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Wednesday, Bright And Cheerful.
Allsorts, Any Stamped Image.

I used the Close To My Heart stamp set, The Great Indoors.
This is a funny little Covid inspired set, I guess we can say that now.
The large stamped 'home' and little houses are from this set.
2nd sentiment is by Gina K Designs, Home Is stamp set, which I cropped.

Lots of inks;
Amalgam Black, Perfect Plum, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral,
Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist and Wisteria Wonder.
I started stamping from the center out and going to the right.
I confess I was going to go in rainbow order, but when I started to stamp from the center out left, I did it backwards....oh well. lol

MFT Paper, Rainbow Plaid and Black and White Stripes.
Copic Marker.
Studio Katia Wedding Bells Mix Jewels.
Clear Embossing Powder.
Fun Foam.
WOS.

Gina K Designs, Home Is stamp set.

My second card will be entered into the Challenge at

I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System and some Spellbinders Hot Foil Plates, Glimmering Butterflies and Glimmering Layered Flowers.  These sets also come with the matching dies.  The Oval was included in the Glimmer System.
Spellbinders Classic Oval die set.
Foil in Gold.

Sentiment from Altenew, Peony Spray stamp set.
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
Gold Embossing Powder.
Adhesive Pearls.
Foam Dots.

Sentiment from Altenew, Paint A Flower Daffodil stamp set.

I adore the Gold Foil!

I also created a matching envelope.
Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set.
Gold Embossing Powder.

This card is for Beverly McNary, she is our dear friend Kathy Krug's sister.
Kathy passed away suddenly on Monday of this week.
Although, like so many others, I never met Kathy in person, but had become such good online friends with her.  We all met back on the old Stamp TV website aka Gina K Designs, many, many years ago.
She was a generous soul and wildly talented.  If you ever saw her creations you know she made the most beautiful flowers for her cards, I always referred to her as 'the paper gardener'.
Kathy always had a kind word to say and she will be missed by many.
I still can't believe she is gone but I do take care in the fact
that she has been reunited with her dear hubby, Steve.

Thanks for strolling by.

I appreciate you all and our friendship!

xoxo

  4. FABULOUS cards!!!! I love the rainbow plaid on the first card and stamping those little houses to match the colors in the plaid is GENIUS! I love the focal too. I remember it from back in the Covid days (and yes, guess we CAN say that now...lol.) Your foiled card is simply spectacular. All that glitz and shine is stunning, you have used those Glimmer Plates perfectly. Well done, sweet friend!!
