You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

One Layer Collage

Good Afternoon!

The sun is shining, the winds are howling, man is it cold out, still feels like winter.  I know the calendar predicts Spring will arrive tomorrow, but I fear it may not.  *sigh*  Oh well, one day at a time!

I made this card for the Challenges at Stamp TV, One Layer Collage, (hosted by my dear friend, Karen Hightower) and at Simon Says Monday, Lions And Lambs, to use a 'critter' on your project.

I think Karen said she used 13 different stamp sets on her card, egads....I have only used 9....only!  lol

At first I felt intimidated by this Challenge, but once I started stamping I felt more at ease.  Although I definitely stamped in a more organized fashion, a more structured collage, more orderly and balanced.  I don't know if this is what Karen intended us to do, but this is how I did it.  hahaha  Not so carefree after all.  Who knew?  The only accents are the itty bitty brads from Stampin' Up! in green and blue.

I used the following Gina K Designs stamp sets;  Botanicals, Elegant Elements, Labeled With Love, Lots Of Washi, Signs Of Spring, Springtime Silhouettes, Stamper's Favorites and Stipple Nature, Tropical Flowers.

Distress Inks in;  Antique Linen, Broken China, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Weathered Wood and Wild Honey.

Next time I think I will stamp in a more willy nilly fashion.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Hello!

Good Afternoon!  Happy Halloween!  May your day be filled with treats and just a trick or two!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Stamp TV, It Takes 2, Only 2 and for the Challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

Kraft on kraft with green....eh.....has a very natural look about it.....like recycling!  lol  I used the stamp sets Stamp It Big and Tropical Flowers by Gina K Designs.   Marvy Flower punch, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and corner rounder.  I also colored the Adhesive Pearls using Copic Markers.  Panel is popped up to add dimension.

Happy Halloween......man this card IS kind of scary!

Enjoy~~

A Little Fall Sketch

Good day!

Back with one more card, which will be entered into the  Mod Squad Challenge, Tag It!,  Simon Says Monday Challenge, Falling For...... and the Sketch Challenge at MFT.

I used several of the dies from the MFT Blueprint #12 set, flowers, leaves and banner.  There is leaf image stamped behind the sentiment in a very light green, which you can't really see in the photo.  Both stamps are by Gina K Designs, Tropical Leaves and Falling For You.  I used lots of Kraft and this lovely Designer Paper by K & Company, Roam.   EK Success paper punch to make the tag which I added an eyelet and some rustic jute twine to.  A neutral ribbon to tie it all together.  lol

Fall has to be one of my most favorite times of the year, Spring is a close second, although Fall does have better hair days!  ;)

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy!

CAS 5

I think this may be my last CAS for sometime.....I think!  lol

This will also be entered into the Less Is More Challenge, Foliage.

Using a Spellbinders die that I centered onto the card stock I sponged some green ink directly to the card stock base.  Using Stazon Timber Brown Ink I stamped the leaf image from Tropical Flowers and the sentiment from All Occasion Tags, both from Gina K Designs.

I think these CAS cards will be great for my Mom, but I think I need to get back to my layers and layers and lots of embellishments, aye?  lol

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~
