Gardening Fun

Hello Again!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at the Mod Squad Blog, Pattern Paper.

There is nothing more that I enjoy more than crafting.....BUT gardening is a very close second!  If it's Spring, Summer or Fall and I have the time you will probably find me in my gardens.  I LOVE it!

Typically I look more like Pig Pen when gardening, but that's okay!  The stamp set is by Gina K Designs, Green Thumb Diva.  Images colored with Copic Markers.  Core'dinations Pattern Papers, MFT Bracket Edge Duo Border Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Tonic Corner Punch.

Before heading to the Adirondack chairs and sipping adult beverages, you'll find me in the gardens.

Thanks so much for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Pink Fish

Good Afternoon!

Today's card is for the Challenge over at the Mod Squad Blog hosted by my dear friend, Karen Hightower!  The Challenge is to use a typical masculine stamp but make it a feminine card.  Here is what I have come up with.

I sponged a piece of white card stock using blue and green inks to create my sea.  I used the fish and seaweed images are from the By The Tide stamp set by Stampin' Up!  The sentiment is from Green Thumb Diva, by Gina K Designs.  I heat embossed the fish, in pink, on the base card stock, then I stamped another one in pink and fussy cut that out, using pop dots to place over the embossed fish, giving it some depth.  I tore pieces of paint chips to make the ocean floor, these particular ones have a great deal of texture, like sand paper.  Adding a bit of blue and orange Baker's Twine and some adhesive pearls, for bubbles and accents.  I also covered the seaweed and fish in a ton of Stickles in corresponding colors.   I am sure I can definitely send this to any gal here on Cape Cod!  ;)

Thanks for stopping by, so good to be in the craft room again.  My daughter treated me to a whole fun-filled weekend in the city for Mother's Day....oh the FUN we had!  I will have to upload some of the fabulous pictures we took.

Hope you all had wonderful Mother's Day....whether you are a daughter, a mother, or both, hope you were able to enjoy the day!

Today is also my Mother's 84th birthday!  Here's a picture of my Mom and my Daughter from last year's "birthday kidnapping".  Oh we gals know how to have some FUN!!!

Enjoy~~

Days Of Diva Tags

There's a great Tag Challenge going on over at Stamp TV  Every Monday a new Challenge goes up and for as long as I have been a part of the STV Community I think I have only missed one.  And doesn't that just make me crazy to have missed THAT one?!?!  lol

I decided to use some of my Diva stamp sets.  These are great little sets starring a stunning Diva in different settings.  Well here, I'll just show you!

Serenity Diva

Balanced Diva

Green Thumb Diva

Scooter Diva

Rainy Day Diva

I cut out all the tags using my Cameo, such a handy little device.  Can't imagine the things I will be able to do with it once I sit down and give it the proper time to play with it.  All of the Stamp Sets can be found here at Gina K Designs

Nothing too fancy on each tag, just added ribbon and adhesive pearls.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ina and colored everything with Copic Markers.  I probably will add a skewer to the Green Thumb Diva Tag and stick it in a plant and give to a friend.

That's it for now.  Until the next time........
