Back again on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.
Today I have a pretty 'sunflower' to share with you.
I changed up the colors to make it not look so much like a Fall flower.
Using the Cheery Lynn Sunflower Set I cut my petals 3 times in 3 different shades of blue, then sponged the petal edges using a blue ink. Then I just layered them together topping with a center, that I die cut twice. I think it is so bright and happy in these shades of blue! I die cut my stem and leaves from 2 different shades of green card stock, assembled and placed it all together on a Memory Box Sideshow Tickets die cut, this is a retiring set. I layered that with a piece of white card stock which I added a bit of texture to using a Darice Embossing Folder, Basket Weave.
I also added a Memory Box Orbitz Circle underneath my focal panel as an accent.
This is also a retiring set, so get em' while they're hot!
I stamped my sentiment in Island Indigo ink, sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder
and heat set, all on a Vellum strip. Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Friends.
Enamel Dots.
Button & Twine.
So much dimension--you know I loooooove that!

ReplyDeleteHi, Donna! Saying "beautiful card" does not begin to describe how your masterpiece touches my heart! It truly is gorgeous - but there is something about the sweet sentiment on vellum, the lovely, cool colors, the textures, layers and shapes, that really melts my heart. It's a wonderful card! Truly lovely. hugs, de
