All My Love

Good Afternoon!

Just another little Valentine to share with you today.  This one is a bit unusual in my Designer Paper choices.  I wanted to mix it up a bit and see what would happen.
I am happy to say I LOVE IT!

I am entering this card into the Challenges at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes and
Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Love.

I started with some Papertrey Ink Designer Paper, Simple Valentine and then moved on to a pretty little floral print and black and white stripe, both from my stash.  Layered them and whipped out my Janome Mini and did a little stitching on the left side, adhering the Pink Heart Doily, cut in half, as I did so.  I used the DRU Butterfly #2 die set and cut in Hot Pink card stock and then in Black and White prints.  Topped with Candy Dots.

Chipboard Heart cut in half.
Baker's Twine.
Vellum.
Thin Ribbon.
Black Embossing Powder.
Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Vintage Rose.

So tell me what you think of mixing and matching these Designer Papers.
Yay or Nay?  Different, yes....but have you met me?!?!  lol

GOOOOOOO PATRIOTS!!!

Thanks for flitting by, love it when you do!

Enjoy~~

  2. Looks like you only need half of a heart and you still can get a fabulous card. Love the butterflies on the side with the solid papers under neath.

  3. I like your choice and mix of papers Donna! Love the printed butterflies o the side and the half hearts. I always seem to think I need to use the whole die. Allowing the die to fall off the card gives it movement. So pretty!

  7. I love it too. Not your traditional Valentine card for sure, but it all works perfectly. I really like how you have only used half those hearts, and the butterflies in the different patterned papers, layered together, are the perfect final touch. Well done!!!

  10. You are the master of mixing and layering papers. I would never thought of the pink and black together but is so WORKS. The heart coming off the side also works. Great Valentine card.
