Happy 70th, Friend

Only you're not 70.....that was last year lol

Ever make one of those mistakes?  Well I have made it twice within days....you'll see another card soon with the same issues.  Dear friends have birthdays coming in July and August, thought they were both going to be 70.....nope that was last year....for both of them lol  I'll figure out something, or just give them their youth back!  HA!

Anyways this card will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV. Creating Envelopes and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I found this fabulous Designer Paper in my stash, DCWV, Lace And Linens, pretty, romantic prints!  I stitched 3 of the different prints together with my Janome Mini Sewing Machine.   Then I just started die cutting and layering card stocks together.....FUN!!!  Spellbinders Captivating Squares, Beaded Ovals, Standard Circles and Hearts dies used.  The Happy die cut is by Cheery Lynn and has been colored with a Copic Marker as it was cut out of White card stock.

Lots of accents too!  Doily, sponged with Antique Linen ink.  Seam Binding Ribbon colored with a Copic Marker--years ago I bought a large roll of white for just this purpose--so economical!  Lace, Rhinestone Circle and Adhesive Pearls.  Gina K Designs stamp sets; A Little Something, Fill It With Flowers, Lovely Shelf and Simple Numbers.  Ink in Blushing Bride.

Matching Ivory Envelope stamped in Blushing Bride ink using the Gina K Designs stamp set, Birthday Blessings.

I love when I can just layer up anything and everything and it still comes out quite pretty!  YAY!

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy~~

Envelope

Back again!

I made this card and envelope for one of PTI's Anniversary Challenge, and for this last Challenge, Transformation, I decided to re-do my envelope.

Previous Challenge:

Transformation:

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Garden Gate stamp and dies and Shaker & Sprinkles stamp sets.  I started with an ivory envelope that measures 5 1/4 x 7 3/8 inches.  Using inks in; Black Licorice, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Perfect Plum, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi I created my Hollyhocks and Wisteria.  Die cut the Garden Gate and matching Lattice in White card stock.

I covered my flowers with Versa Mark Ink and Heat Embossing Powder, which I then heated and doused with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  Heating once again to seal all of that glittery goodness in!  These products are AMAZING and are from Stampin' Up!  Cut my grassy knoll with an MFT die, Snow Drifts.  Assembled all of the pieces and decorated with Iridescent Sequins.  Yes, this will be hand delivered!

Thanks for popping in.  The lights are flickering.......

Enjoy~~

Season's Greetings

Yup, it's time.....Christmas in July!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Christmas In July, Scrapy Land, Emboss It (heat or dry) and WOW! Embossing Powder.

I created a Christmas card with a matching envelope.  This card measures 5.5" x 5.5" and the envelope measures 6" x 6.25" to accommodate my sentiment tab.  I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Season's Greetings.  The sentiment is heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.

Designer Papers by DCWV, Brights.  Using Spellbinders Standard Circles dies I created a frame by layering 2 together.  This created a nice 'wreath' base to adhere my white foliage to.  Paper Smooches Foliage 1 and 2 dies used.  I topped my wreath with Candy Dots by Stampin' Up! and green foliage and red jingle bells (which were tied on using twine).  Gingham Ribbon, Button and Jute Twine for accents.

My wreath is backed by a piece of frosted Vellum.

Thanks for coming by and Fa La La La La.....

Enjoy~~
