Sunshine In My Life

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes! and Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Sunshine.

I used two sets by Flourishes (poor Flourishes) Dahlias and Hydrangeas.  Images colored with Copic Markers.   Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 and MFT Cross Stitched Rectangles dies used.

Hi-lighted 'sunshine'.

Sheer Ribbon, Stickles, Wink Of Stella Clear Pen and Crystal Drops for accent.

I needed a thank you card for some generous neighbors. My Hubby helped him put up some window boxes one night.  When he came home he had 3 large pots of beautiful Dahlias.  The couple own their own Exterior Design Company out of Connecticut and said they had some 'leftover plants'.  They are the only people I know who have 'leftover plants' lol

I transplanted and split one up too.  Aren't they gorgeous?

Leftovers....lol

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

  10. Your card is lovely Donna! WOW those dahlias are gorgeous ... what a sweet gesture on their part and how lucky are you that they had such beautiful 'left overs!' LOL My father in law used to grow 'dinner plate dahlias' ... they were huge faced and just gorgeous! They grew one year for me after he died and that was it ... guess he decided to take them with him!
Thanks for sharing ... have a fabulous weekend!
