I wish all of you Moms out there a very HAPPY day! Hope you are surrounded by love and laughter today and always!
I altered a mini wooden clipboard for my little project today.
I found this at my local craft store for a buck, complete with hardware on back for easy mounting! I first painted it white and then covered it with Designer Paper by Craft Smith, Tea Party Collection. And then the FUN began!
I added a pretty sparkly glitter to the metal clip and topped it off with a chipboard heart, jute twine, button and a tulle doily. Also added a strip of pink pleated ribbon, string of pearls and adhesive pearls. Hummingbird die by Cheery Lynn.
Next I began to create my little garden. Many dies used; Paper Smooches, Foliage 1, ferns in white. Frantic Stamper, Mix & Match Poppies, leaves in green. The flowers are by Cheery Lynn, Gardenia strip small (my Mom's favorite!). Sentiment by MFT, Sweet Roses, stamped in Melon Mambo ink on a hand cut banner flag. Lots of adhesive pearls for accents. As well as tulle added here and there. The heart tag was created using texture paste and a Teresa Collin's stencil. Die cut with a Spellbinders Standard Circle die, added eyelet and ribbon strips. Then I 'painted' on a coat of Wink Of Stella Clear.
The 2 little scattered butterflies are by Memory Box, Butterfly Exhibit die, which I snipped apart from a die cut of 5 of them.
And I added a lone white fluffy feather to the left side....cuz let's face it....it needed one! lol
Quite FUN to make....and of course......FABULOUS! Even if I do say so myself.....and I am!!!
