You Make My Heart Bloom

Hello!

The 2nd day of Spring and it's snowing!  I would love to be able to get outside and garden, but for now I will try to make some paper flowers and create my own little garden.....inside.

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Cheery Lynn, Anything Goes!, ScrapyLand, Think Green and Dies R Us, Handmade Flowers.

It kind of looks like a mess from here, but IRL it looks pretty good!  The Flower Pot is a Free Cameo Cut I found online.  I assembled it and then using the Frugal Crafter's VIDEO I 'Patina-ed' it, with Rusty, Green and Gold Embossing Powders and Craft Paint in White and Teal.  Loved her technique!  Then I began cutting out all of my flowers and leaves from an SVG Kit, 3D Flowers II.  They are not fancy just sweet little Impatients.  I added Liquid Pearls to the centers and placed them in my flower pot.

The viny flourishes are by Cheery Lynn, Fanciful Flourish, I die cut 2 and snipped them apart, placing the pieces where I thought they would look best.  Mini Adhesive Pearls placed randomly.  The sentiment is by Gina K Designs, A Little Something (how perfect!)  The Vellum Butterfly, is by Cheery Lynn, Butterfly 6,  which was an afterthought, but I do like the look.

Thanks so much for popping by!

Enjoy~~

  1. Love your flower pot full of pretty flowers and vines. Its hard sometimes to cut up a die cut. Why is that? It's only paper and you can cut another. The sentiment is perfect and the butterfly looks happy in his surroundings.

  7. Well your garden flowers on paper are beautiful! This will have to do until you can get digging in the dirt again and plant real ones. I love the butterfly you added to the pot of blooms too!
