St. Paddy's Day!

Today's card was for yesterday's Holiday and the Challenge over at Simon Says Monday Challenge, Lucky

Nothing luckier than a shamrock right?   I used a couple of $1 stamps to create this. So perhaps our Hubby's are right, you DON'T have to spend a lot of money to craft!  hahaha  Maybe we should just keep that little fact here....no need to tell them!

Stamped the background with a Shamrock stamp, then added some little dots here and there with a Sakura Glitter Pen.  Fiskars Border Punch and some Shamrock ribbon from my stash.  I cut a 2 layer Shamrock out with my Cameo, topped with glitter and an adhesive rhinestone.

Hope your St. Paddy's Day was a lucky one for you!

On Sunday I cooked a corned beef, not my favorite meal, but I bake it now rather than boil it (ew!) much tastier!   I used this recipe:  For The Love Of Cooking! It is delicious this way, try it!

  2. What a fantastic card you've created! And yes- I definitely agree that we will keep it on the down-low about what amazing things we can do with frugal supplies! Husbands shouldn't know they're right about such things, huh! :) I really love your card (great bling on the shamrock and I liked how you created a faux patterned background with the shamrock stamp) and I also thoroughly enjoyed your write-up. I always admire people who can write well and craft well! And what a neat idea to include a corned beef recipe! If I cooked, I would definitely give that a try! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
