Such a fun little card to make, once I figured out WHAT to do. This STV Challenge stumped me for several days! I think using the MFT Sketch helped me immensely!
The stamps are from the Let It Snow set, available from Gina K Designs. The card base is GKD Pure Luxury, Bubble Gum Pink and the Designer Paper is from My Mind's Eye, Love Me. I colored the image using Copic Markers, and then fussy cut it out. Spellbinders Classic Circle die for the pink background that is embossed with a Darice Folder, Snowflake Swirl, all mounted on a white doily. I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of snowflake vellum. I then used several colors of Stickles for the snowman, tie, hat band and broom. It really sparkles and shines. :) The great thing about this card is that it will not need extra postage--YAY! That hardly happens in my house. lol
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy~~
Oh geez, what a cute little guy. And YOU thought you weren't gonna do this challenge. But you ROCKED it!!! Love the gingham background paper, and especially that vellum. I have seen this a lot lately and am definitely gonna be using that technique. Love the pink embossed greeting too. And all that sparkle, PLUS the doily?? Totally awesome!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSee, I told you that you would come thru with a know out! Love the pink and the gingham BG. How clever to do the greeting on the velum. Oh, he is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI love him on the pink! I'm going to have to try embossing on vellum...love the look!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card! Everything about it is so clever: the snowman on the doily, the sentiment on velum, the snow flake embossed background, and the gingham background. It may have a winter scene on the card but it gives off a lot of warmth. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card...love that snowman and all the pink surroundings. Such a great way to combine the last of winter and the beginning of spring.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!! Ya gotta love a snowman that's in the pink, or in this case "on" the pink. tee-hee I especially like the gingham background and the doily
ReplyDeletePretty in Pink! A lovely contrast to the winter blues :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute snowman he even has a pink tie, clever! And I love the gingham paper! Spring will get here before we know it! Have a Blessed day!
