Now on to some Fall Colors!
Flourishes has a wonderful Challenge going on, adding Dots. You may add dots to your background or colored image.
On Tuesday they had this great Pointillism Tutorial.
noun: pointillism
- 1.a technique of neo-Impressionist painting using tiny dots of various pure colors, which become blended in the viewer's eye. It was developed by Georges Seurat with the aim of producing a greater degree of luminosity and brilliance of color.
I'll try anything at least once, so here is my effort:
I decided to use this technique for coloring the image and adding some Fall color to the background. I like how this came out and might try it in the very near future again.
I used the Flourishes stamp set, Autumn Blessings......kind of says it all doesn't it? Many Copic Markers, Nestabilities Classic and Scalloped Circles, Sizzix Decorateive Swirl #4 die, burlap style green fabric, buttons and twine.
This card will be entered in 3 Challenges:
Flourishes FTTC #239, Build it With Dots
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes
CMC Fall Colors (Fall13)
I hope you all can experience some of this beautiful Fall weather.
And don't forget.....try something new!
ENJOY~~
