Double D, Hearts

 Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Hearts.

I was drawn in by the Bleeding Hearts panel, they are so lovely!

Here is what I created:

I used an older Papertrey Ink Kit, Garden Gate.
All of the stamps and dies and Designer Papers create beautiful garden cards.
This is an actual gate fold card with a gate front lol
I did adhere it to a top folding card though, somewhere to write a nice note.

I used Distress Oxide inks to create my background;
Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint.
Tuxedo Black, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi inks.

Gate and Lattice dies.
Bleeding Hearts stamp and dies.
Gate Sign die.
Designer Paper cut for Sign.
This is all in the PTI Garden Gate Kit.

Gina K Designs, Seasons of Joy and Stamp It Big stamp sets.
White Paint Splatters.
Penny Black Heart String die, cropped

Inside.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Here's the prize for this Challenge:

Thanks so much for strolling through the garden with me!

Enjoy~~

  3. You did a great job with inspiration from the mood tile. I love that you used an older die. We should not forget them as they made fabulous cards then and now.

  5. What a BEAUTIFUL creation Donna! LOVE the gate fold and how sweet are those bleeding hearts! I have pink bleeding heart plants that make me very happy when I see them start to bloom. I've seen pictures of actual RED ones and will have to check into making a purchase. My friend gave me WHITE bleeding heart a few years ago and they are pretty too. Stunning & inspiring overall card design ... WOW!

  7. Beautiful garden setting for your card front. Love the starry night sky and bleeding hearts hanging over the lattice gate. What a great idea to adhere the gate fold to the front of another top fold. Totally elegant design.
