Peace And Joy

Good Morning!

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!  We certainly did, counting my blessings as I type!

Once again I am playing along in the monthly Papertrey Ink December 2016 Blog Hop.

I totally fell in love with Bottle Brush Trees this year......swoon!

I made a bunch of Bottle Brush Tree tags using the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Joyful Christmas.  Bases and tree trunks heat embossed in gold and silver.  Inks in Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron.  Sentiment from Power Poppy, Simple Joys, stamped in Black Licorice ink.

Gold and silver ribbons added to each one.

A little sponging on each tag.

And the perfect little sentiment added.

These were the little Bottle Brush Tree Ornaments I made for friends and family.  I decorated little wooden spools and corks to create them.  I had quite the fun obtaining my cork supply, wink, wink!  Ribbons, lace, beads, gold and silver twine and jingle bell accents.

I think they're kind of precious.

From previous post:

These were my client's gifts.

I always make a little trinket or ornament for family, friends and my clients each year.  Little snowy globes (glass light bulbs sans water).  Filled with a bit of snow and glitter and pearls and then just dropped in my Bottle Brush Trees.  Sealed them up and decorated a bit, adding ribbons and lace, sweet little jingle bells, hand cut flag banner with sentiment and another sweet little Bottle Brush Tree.  CUTE!

When shaken the jingle bells jingle and the snow blusters.

I really love these sweet little combos.

Thanks for hopping by!

And one last time for this year......MERRY MERRY!

Enjoy~~

Sweet Merry Treats

Hello Again!

These sweet treat packages will be entered into the Challenges at; Power Poppy, Sweet Treats, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday, Gift It.

I made these little pocket gift envelopes using my Envelope Board, super easy, here's the VIDEO.  They are the perfect size to hold 2 Peppermint Patties.  I used several stamp sets from Power Poppy; Holly Golightly, Simple Joys, Fully Stocked  and Glistening Paperwhites.  Images colored with Copic Markers.

Spellbinders; Captivating Squares and Classic Ovals dies and Sizzix Holiday Words Script.  I also fussy cut out a few of the images.  Sakura Yellow and Clear Glitter Pens and Red Ribbons for accents.

These were fun and easy and now they are sweet!

Enjoy~~

The Challenge!

Christmas And Ribbon

Make a Christmas project (card, tag, layout, 3D item etc) and make sure you include a ribbon....or two....or three, as many as you like!

Here are my cards, hope you enjoy them!

My first card uses the glorious Power Poppy set, Glistening Paperwhites.  I stamped this fabulous image on a Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 die cut, it showcases it perfectly!  Images colored with Copic Markers.  My sentiment is stamped on to a Sizzix Tags And Labels die cut, in Black Licorice and Pear Pizzazz ink.  Inside is a wisp of the Plaid Designer Paper cut using an MFT Bracket Edge Duo die.

Sheer Ribbon, Flower Button and Twine for accents.  I've also added some Enamel Brads and a lone Candy Dot.  Shimmer and shine added using Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen and Sakura Glitter pens in Teal and Yellow.

My next card is a bit more warmer and a wee bit rustic.

This Power Poppy set is Simple Joys!  Images colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped the gorgeous basket of pinecones and greenery onto a Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Classic Frame.  That same MFT die, Bracket Edge Duo used to hi-light my Designer Papers.

Sentiment stamped in Black Licorice ink.  Gingham Ribbon, Button and Twine for accent.  I also added a bit of shimmer using a Sakura Glaze Pen to hi-light the holly berries.

Here are the full stamp sets I used:

Glistening Paperwhites

Simple Joys

Hope to see you all over at the NEW Mod Squad Challenge site for this Special Challenge sponsored by Power Poppy!  Remember the Challenge runs til November 25th at noon!

Thanks for poppy-ing in.

Enjoy~~
