I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! We certainly did, counting my blessings as I type!
Once again I am playing along in the monthly Papertrey Ink December 2016 Blog Hop.
I totally fell in love with Bottle Brush Trees this year......swoon!
I made a bunch of Bottle Brush Tree tags using the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Joyful Christmas. Bases and tree trunks heat embossed in gold and silver. Inks in Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron. Sentiment from Power Poppy, Simple Joys, stamped in Black Licorice ink.
Gold and silver ribbons added to each one.
A little sponging on each tag.
And the perfect little sentiment added.
These were the little Bottle Brush Tree Ornaments I made for friends and family. I decorated little wooden spools and corks to create them. I had quite the fun obtaining my cork supply, wink, wink! Ribbons, lace, beads, gold and silver twine and jingle bell accents.
I think they're kind of precious.
From previous post:
These were my client's gifts.
I always make a little trinket or ornament for family, friends and my clients each year. Little snowy globes (glass light bulbs sans water). Filled with a bit of snow and glitter and pearls and then just dropped in my Bottle Brush Trees. Sealed them up and decorated a bit, adding ribbons and lace, sweet little jingle bells, hand cut flag banner with sentiment and another sweet little Bottle Brush Tree. CUTE!
When shaken the jingle bells jingle and the snow blusters.
I really love these sweet little combos.
Thanks for hopping by!
And one last time for this year......MERRY MERRY!
Enjoy~~

ReplyDeleteWonderful tags!
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you the clever one!!! I have enough corks we could make these for the entire state! Wink! Wink! I used to save the corks from every bottle of wine/champagne that was opened for special occasions and write on the date & who was involved ... I have some dating back to the late 80s early 90s ... my grandson used to play with them when he was little! Shoot them across the room ... but he always put them 'back in the big bottle' for safe keeping till next time. LOL
