Pretty Halloween Pumpkins

Good Afternoon!

I have a Halloween card to share with you, and its not your typical Halloween card.

This will be entered into the Challenges at Curtain Call, Pretty Pumpkins and Dies R Us, Ghoul Friends/Halloween.

I loved the Inspirational Photo, so pretty!  I decided to paper piece my pretty pumpkins in coordinating colors and prints.  The black and white stripe frame is Washi Tape.  I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Heartfelt and Wicked.

Spellbinders Fanciful Lattice die and MFT Traditional Stitched Tags die (yes, they are my FAVORITE!!!).  Chevrons Embossing Folder to add some texture and the tag is topped off with ribbon and twine.

It's Halloween, yet not scary....well except for that BOO!  lol

Thanks so much for dropping by my pumpkin patch.

Enjoy~~

New Baby Basket

Good Afternoon!  Up at the crack of dawn, off to work and now I have been playing in my craft room....TODAY is a good day!

I made a sweet little pink baby card and will enter it into 2 Challenges, Mod Squad Blog, Paper Piecing and Simon Says Wednesday, Make It Sparkle

I used 2 stamp sets from Gina K Designs, Basket Additions #2 and Holiday Basket, both just perfect to welcome a sweet little baby girl into the world!  Colored with Copic Markers.  I paper pieced the little material ruffle and rolled baby blanket.  I also paper pierced the 4 corners of the focal image base.  The addition of a pink doily really sets off the focal images.  I added Stickles for the glitter on the rubber ducky, baby bottle rim and powder bottle rim.  Some white adhesive pearls and a wide pink ribbon complete the card.  Just a fun card to make to celebrate new life.....love it!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate you doing so!

Enjoy~~

World Card Making Day

What a GREAT day!  I hope I actually get some time to make some cards on this OUR beloved Holiday!  :)

But for today's post I will share with you a card I made yesterday for the Flourishes #240 Challenge, Paper Piecing.

I used the Dahlias set from Flourishes.  Stamped the image on to green and purple card stock and then fussy cut out, man that was a bugger!  lol  Glued them all to an ivory colored oval, stacked on a purple scalloped oval, cut using Spellbinders dies.  Inked the edges in corresponding colors and traced the flower petals in a clear Sakura star pen, which is hard to see.  I used DP from DCWV, Latte, and a couple of flourishes (get it?)  :) Added 4 purple eyelets (does anyone else use these anymore???) and actually added a green rhinestone to the center.  Some gorgeous ribbon, button and Baker's Twine and wha la!

Now you still have time to get your project entered into this Challenge which runs through the 7th!

Good luck!

And of course, I hope you get to get inky today!

ENJOY~~
