Love And Sympathy

Good Afternoon!

A couple of cards to share with you today.

This first one will be entered into the Papertrey Ink Challenge, Spot Color Word Dies.  Betsy has a wonderful video you can watch HERE.

I made this into a little gift card and I know the perfect little girl to give it to, I also have  gifts stockpiled for any and all occasions, YAY!  I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Ballerina Beauty, stamped in Raven Black ink.   Then using the Big Basics Love You die I cut out my 'hidden sentiment'.

I colored the Love You die cut in 5 different shades of Pink using Copic Markers.  Then I placed it back into the negative space.  Added a few Pink Sequins in different shades and sizes and a bit of Baker's Twine.

My next card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Flower Power and Simon Says Wednesday, Sparkle And Shine.

Using the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Elegant Florals and Sending Love I created this Sympathy card.  I stamped the leafy vine stamp in Versa Mark and then Heat Embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.  This became my 'hidden' panel.

My top panel I dry embossed using a Sizzix Embossing Folder.  I then cut it down a bit so I could have a bit of the heat embossed panel peeking out.  I also added Copper Foiled paper to each edge.   This was popped up using foam dimensions.

I stamped my Calla Lily 3 times with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.  These I fussy cut out.  Stitched Traditional Tag die cut for my heat embossed sentiment.  Natural Twine.

A little bit of depth and dimension.

Hoping this brings love and comfort.

*and for the record I made this card with a fever and sinus infection  ;)

Thanks for popping by.

Birthday Blessings

Good Afternoon!  I'm just dashing out to celebrate my Mom's 87th birthday today.....we are hosting a Champagne Party this afternoon for her and her gal pals, aka, my Crazy Aunties.  They're pretty cool gals!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV Kit Addicts, Shine And Sparkle, Stamp TV MIUM, This Or That, Simon Says Monday, It's A Frame UpSimon Says Wendesday, Going Dotty, Penny Black, Color Inspiration Photo and Stamping Sensations, Butterflies, Fairies, and Fantasy.

I pulled from the colors.

I used the Stamp TV Kit, Shabby Spring by Gina K Designs.  Images stamped in Raven Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  My background was created by foiling Toner Paper with Hot Pink Foil and then adding texture with a Lattice Embossing Folder.

PTI Shakers And Sprinkles dies for my frame.  Sentiment heat embossed with Pink Powder.  Nuvo Crystal drops in Carnation Pink and Morning Dew--which dry clear and I looooooove!  Sakura Glitter Pen and WOS Clear Glitter for some extra sparkle and shine.

Thanks so much for popping by......off to start the Champagne Toasts!

Enjoy~~

Tis The Season

Merry Merry!

This sweet little card, it only measures 4.25 x 3.75, will be entered into the Challenges at; WOW! Embossing Powder, Winter, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes and Memory Box, Marvelous Metallics.

I used the Flourishes stamp set, Holiday Topiaries.  Images colored with Copic Markers.    Sentiment stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed in silver.  Memory Box Twilight Snowflake die cut from Toner Paper and foiled using my Mini Minc in Holographic Foil.  I then stacked the pieces and adhered to my card base.  The center star die I used to top my tree.

Designer Paper is by Recollections, Christmas (Ice Crystals) some with pretty foiled pages.  I added a Red Sakura Glitter Pen to the Holly Berries on the tree.

This will make for a pretty little gift tag.

One week to go......hope you're ready!

Enjoy~~
