You Mean The World To Me

Hello!

Happy Mother's Day.....although it be a bit odd this year!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Gina K Designs, Lean On Me...with matching envelope.
Penny Black, Boys And Men.
Allsorts, Anything Goes.

I used the Wonderful World stamp set form Gina K Designs.
The stand was stamped in Amalgam Black ink and
heat embossed with Clear Powder.  I also stamped and heat embossed the world image after I colored it with Copic Markers, then I cut it out
using a Spellbinders Standard Circle die.
Star Sequins.

This card measures 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches,
so it definitely needed a home made envelope.

I used a nautical ocean print Designer Paper to create it.

I think the Designer Paper liner makes it POP!

This next card will be entered into the Challenges at:

Card Concept, Mother's Day.

Tutti Designs Stitched Tags and Stitched Banners.
MFT Dizzy Border and Sweet Roses stamp (sentiment).
Power Poppy Everything Is Even Rosier stamp (image).
Black Amalgam ink.

Pearl Ribbon.
Sheer Ribbon.
Doily.
Glitter.

Wishing you all a happy and safe Mother's Day.

Here's a little video my Mom's Assisted Living Place put out to all of the families.
Edie pops in about 1:45.

  4. Wonderful CAS world design. Love the envelope. Great Mother's Day card. The film is great idea for Mother's Day. I love the flowered hats some of them wore.

Beautiful second card, love the fancy borders and the doily to go with the lovely flower and sheer bow!
That is great that the assisted living place put that all together. Your mom looks very happy, what a wonderful thing that is, hope she stays well!

  6. I just love these cards, both of them. I love the world card because of it's size and shape and the matching envelope. The second card is so Donna style. You are able to match everything and make it work.
