Baby Blessings

Good morning!

I made this card for my daughter's in-laws, Dave and Colleen.  They sent Tom and I a beautiful card all about Grand daughters and I finally had the chance to create one for them.  I hope they like it.  We are so lucky to be able to co-grandparent our beautiful Penelope Joy.

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Scrapy Land, Anything Goes.

I whipped out my Janome Mini Sewing Machine and did a little stitching
on the right side and sewed my 2 different Designer Papers together.

Spellbinders; Hearts dies
Papertrey Ink; Counting My Blessings die
Pink Doily
Gold Glitter Paper

  1. All of the buttons and bows and pink on this card. It can not be mistaken for anything but a sweet little girl card. But I have to say that the picture of Penny, is the best one. I just want to kiss her face.

  5. What a beautiful thought, Donna, and an equally beautiful creation to convey that thought! I love the brown tones in contrast to the pinks, and all those textures! Wow! This card is a winner - not only because of the love in it, and the increased love it will confirm, but because you will win at SL with such a wonderful creation, right down to the pearls and stitching! LOL (that's my premonition LOL) love, de

  8. Oh my word, I just laughed out loud when I saw that photo of our sweet Penny. She is so stinkin' CUTE!!! And so is your card, it's just darling. They are going to love it, what a nice thing to do. Yep, we have to share the grandkids, don't we? It's all good though, aren't we fortunate to have such nice people to share with? I love the little buttons on your card, and the pearls and doily are perfect.
