Double D, Tan Neutrals With Texture

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Ready for some wonderful inspiration?

Here's my card:

My background die is Papertrey Ink's Hexagon Cover Plate.  I found an easy way to secure it to my Ivory card stock by framing it in with Washi Tape.  No more muss and fuss with liquid glue, worked perfectly!  I also added 4 Corner Tabs from an EK Success Punch.  This magnificent Sunflower die is by Cheery Lynn, aptly named, Sunflower, which also embosses some great texture when die cutting.  I cut it twice to layer the petals, once from Tan Leather card stock and then from a glittery Beige.

My sentiment is by Gina K Designs, from The Journey stamp set and is stamped in Timber Brown ink all on an MFT Stitched Traditional Tags die cut.  Sheer Ribbon, Natural Twine and a small Button for accents.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did because there is a wonderful prize up for grabs!

Thanks so much for popping in!

Enjoy~~
