Good Monday Morning!
Back on the Dies R Us Blog today to share a pretty Poppy card with you all!
I must say I just bought this beautiful Row Of Poppies die by Memory Box and this pretty Border Edgers die by Penny Black in mid November and this is the first time I am using them and now they are no longer available, I am writing this post on December 6th.
Things move QUICKLY through our Dies R Us Store, so my advice to you is, if you see something you like BUY IT!!! Do not dilly dally!
There are many dies that you could use to get this very same look, here are a few:
Tutti Designs
Heart Flower Garden
Impression Obsession
Floral Heart Strip
Cheery Lynn Designs
Southern Charm Valance
Memory Box
Albana Border
After die cutting my flowers from water color paper I water colored them using inks in Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi. I use my regular ink pads and a water brush, this technique works perfectly for me. I also cut them from a piece of Black card stock and placed them into the negative space, being careful to replace any and all of the Black card stock. I think this 'inlaid' look is very appealing.
My corner die is Lace Corner Deco H by Cheery Lynn. A little strip of Designer Paper on the edge and inside for accents and my card is complete.
This card wil also be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy~~
Remember everyday the Design Team will be sharing beautiful inspiration with you all, so keep coming back!
