Black & White & Loved All Over

Happy Weekend!  Looks like another fabulous Fall day!  Life Is Good....Knock On Wood!

Today's card I am entering into the Challenge over at Poppy Sketch, #17, With A Pop Of Pattern, Houndstooth.

And here is my card:

I used one of my older sets from Gina K Designs, Vintage Borders, and the sentiment and snowflake are from the Wishing You Joy set.  I stamped the multi lingual Merry Christmas 3 times, creating the background, which is popped up on the card base to add dimension.

I also stamped the scalloped border adding rhinestones to each center.  The sentiment is stamped in black ink while the snowflake was stamped in light grey and then traced using a Sakura Clear Star Glitter Pen.  A border of  Houndstooth Designer Paper is the backdrop for the sentiment tag.  One additional large rhinestone was added to the snowflake center.

I like the non traditional colors (or lack thereof) of this Christmas card, I wonder how the recipient will react to receiving a black and white Christmas card?!?!

Thanks so much for coming by, appreciate you doing so.

Enjoy~~
