Jar Of Leaves

Happy Saturday!  Another wonderful day here, the weather is just gorgeous!   YAY!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Stamp TV, Falling Leaves and the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

I enjoyed making this card, grabbing inspiration from Pinterest......that site is AHmazing!!!

I began by stamping the 'falling leaves' on a piece of card stock, once I liked how they looked I splattered it with some orange craft paint, then I cut them into 3 panels.  I then stamped the jar image onto blue card stock and Vellum, as I knew I wanted to make it look like a glass jar, and what better way to do that than with Vellum?  I stamped 10 smaller leaves for the jar contents, coloring them, with Copic Markers, in assorted fall colors.  Filling the jar with the leaves I then laid the piece of stamped Vellum on top, adhering it with a small amount of Scor Tape on the outer edges, I don't think you can even tell it is there.  I then stamped 4 more leaves and colored them in solid colors--one for the inside of the card.  The 3 panels are popped up as well as the jar.  A bit of jute twine to give it a more rustic look and wha la!  I really enjoyed this project.  Stamp sets are, Buds and Vases and Fall Foliage, both by Gina K Designs

Happy Fall......hope you are able to do what you like on this fabulous Saturday!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~
