A Bottle Of Red, A Bottle Of White

Good Afternoon!

This wine bottle tag will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Pattern Play With Die Cut Silhouettes and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

 

I used the Uncorked stamp and die sets from Papertrey Ink.    The die cut bottles and layered Cheers (red on black) are backed by a Spellbinders Labels 8 die.  The hole to hang from the neck of a bottle was created using Spellbinders Standard and Scallop Circle dies.  

 

 

 

Designer Papers by American Crafts, Crimson.

 



 

Red and White Gingham Ribbon, Button and Twine for accents.  Real Red ink.  The tag measures 2.75 x 7.5 inches, scored at 2.5 inches.  Very simple to make and will look nice when you take a bottle along to someone's house.

Wine Bottle Birthday Tag

Hello Again!

Just a quick little post.

I made this Wine Bottle Tag for the Challenges at Poppy Stamps, Plaid Is Rad and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes.

 

I started with a piece of card stock measuring 2.75 x 7.5 inches, scoring at 2.5 inches.  In the short end I cut a hole out using Spellbinders Classic Circles die and then made a frame layering the Classic Circle and a Scallop Circle die.  The sentiment is stamped in Tempting Turquoise ink onto a Spellbinders die, Captivating Squares, and is from Power Poppy, the Potted Primroses stamp set.

 





The floral die is by Poppy Stamps, Dogwood Blossom Corner die.  I cut it out twice layering the yellow over the turquoise flowers.  Designer Papers by Pebbles, Family Ties.  Adhesive Rhinestones and Pearls and a Sheer Yellow Ribbon for accents. 

Now I just have to make a 'packie run'.  Not sure if that phrase translates out of New England, but it means making a trip to a Liquor Store.

Graciellie Design New Release & Giveaway

I am honored to have been asked to participate in a Gracie's Blog Hop to introduce her new Digital Stamps for the month.  They are GORGEOUS!

How fabulous is that Vintage Rose?  So fun to color and you can create in any size as it is digital and easy to manipulate. 

 

My first creation is a Wine Tag.....sooooo FUN to create!

 

 

Images colored with Copic Markers.  I then covered them in Heat & Stick Powder, heated it and then doused them in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, heated it for a second time to seal all of that glittery goodness in.  It is super sparkly in real life!

 

 

Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circles dies, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and Adhesive Pearls for accents.  Vellum Butterfly 6 and Fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn.  And because it's for Gracie I just had to add a feather!  Fun and Fabulous!

 

Next up is my card.  I have been on a (paper) gardening kick and whipped up a little flower pot complete with a Patina finish to add the beautiful Vintage Roses to.

 

Images colored with Copic Markers.  Yellow Gingham Ribbon, Flower Button and Jute Twine, and Enamel Dots for accents.

 

I also added a bit of a Wink Of Stella Clear Pen to add a subtle hint of sparkle to my petals.  So pretty!

Wine Tag #2

Hello again!

This tag will be entered into the following Challenges; Power Poppy, Time To Rewind (this falls under: Cut It Out, Gifts From The Heart, Bits & Pieces, Embellish This! ), Simon Says Wednesday, Tag It, Simon Says Monday, Holly Jolly Stamping, Penny Black, Anything Goes With A Stamp, Mod Squad, All That Glitters, and Stamping Sensations, Anything Goes With Stamp And Ribbon.

 

I used the Power Poppy stamp set, Short Stacks.  I cut the packages off of the stamped image and used the perfect sentiment to top a bottle of wine. 

 

Decorating in Designer Paper, MFT Dotted Scallop die, Spellbinder Classic and Scallop Circle die, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  

 

Baker's Twine, Ribbon, Button, and small Enamel Brad for accents.  Sizzix Snowflake die cut in White Glitter Paper. Images colored with Copic Markers. 

 

Wine tag base; white card stock measuring 7.5" x 2.75 ", scored at 2.5", circle die cut in small portion.  Really super easy to make.  :)

Wine Tags.....Who Knew?

Hello!  Getting down to crunch time.  Here's hoping all of your crafts are turning out well!

You know my looooove of tags, right?  Why have I never made Wine Bottle Tags?  Talk about love of crafting.....here we go!

This tag will be entered into the following Challenges; Power Poppy, Time To Rewind (this falls under: Gifts From The Heart , 3 Designer Papers and Embellish This!),  Simon Says Wednesday, Tag It, Simon Says Monday, Holly Jolly Stamping, Penny Black, Anything Goes With A Stamp, and Mod Squad, All That Glitters.

 

I used the Flourishes stamp sets, Home For The Holidays and Star Of Bethlehem (thanks for the reminder, Barb!).  I made a template for the wine tag, it's white card stock that measures 7.5" x 2.75", scored at 2.5" and a circle die cut on the small end.  Simple!

 

I started decorating the white card stock with Designer Papers, including that pretty Green Glitter Paper.  Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies.  I also used the negative die cut from MFT's Western Star Border and Stitched Traditional Tags.   

 

Images colored with Copic Markers.  Sakura White Glaze Pen and Adhesive Pearls, and Baker's Twine for accents.  I think the sentiment works perfectly for wine....yippee!   

 

So fun....so festive....so practical!
