 Good Morning! 

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is what I created:

I used the Studio Katia  large floral stamp, Lovely Blooms.

Stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed in White on dark blue card stock.

Lightly colored and shaded a bit using Copic Markers and a White Colored Pencil.

Loved the top right look on the Mood Board.

Die Versions Curly Word Hello die.

Vellum.

I stenciled my background using the PTI Garden Gate stencil and Dove Grey ink.

Added torn Vellum over the stencil.

This time I am sharing a couple of cards I did a little water coloring on.

They both use the same image, just different colors.

These both use the beautiful Lovely Blooms stamp set from Studio Katia.

Stamped in Amalgam Black ink and heat set with Clear Embossing Powder.

These were just so fun to use with my Zig Water Color Markers.

Hero Arts Prayers die cut.

Lots of ink splatters.

Same.  Same.

I'm finding it easier and easier to make (basically) the same card twice.

Just A Note and a Summer Story

Good Morning!

Hope you all are doing well!

My first card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Monday, Beautiful Botanicals.

Penny Black, Say It With Flowers.

Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

I used the beautiful stamp set, Lovely Blooms by Studio Katia.

This image is beyond lovely!

Stamping in Versa Mark ink and heat setting the image using 

Black Embossing Powder, I created my pretty panel.

I then stamped it a second time in the same manner.  

Colored the floral image with Copic Markers and then fussy cut out.

Cutting a smaller Vellum rectangle I adhered that to my bottom panel

then I layered my colored image on top lining it up properly.

Heat Embossed in White.

Foam Dots to pop it up.

This design makes for a very lovely card.

This summer has been quite unusual and I am sure we all have stories to tell.

This card measures 4 x 4 inches.
