Handmade For Spring

Hello again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Kraft And Colored Pencils, WOW! Embossing Powder, Spring, Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Green and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

I fell in love with Melissa's designs so I CASED it somewhat.

Using White Embossing Powder I heat set the floral image from Papertrey Ink's Botanical Blocks III stamp set on to an MFT Cross Stitched Rectangles die.  The image was then colored with my Derwent Water Color Pencils, but I did not add water to this technique.  I also used the Daydreamer and Flower Favorites stamp sets.  My Designer Paper is Green Tea Leaves also by PTI.

I stitched the Vellum overlay on to my Designer Paper.  Love that accent!  The Vellum was trimmed using a Penny Black Border Edge die.  I also added a bunch of white dots using this FANTASTIC White Pigment Ink from Brutus/Monroe.  OMGoodness this is the BEST White ink I have ever used!  It's so creamy and yummy!  Check out this ink HERE!

I tell ya, this stuff is YUMMY!

Thanks for coming by, I love it when you pop in!

Enjoy~~

Thinking Of You

Good Morning!

I am entering the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Layered Dry Brushing and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I am sure my 'dry brushing' was wetter than needed, but I still like how they came out.

I created my background using craft paints in White, Yellow and Green.  I think I was a bit too heavy handed with it all, but am still pleased with how the backgrounds did come out.  I also added a strip of texture using a Darice Embossing Folder.  The texture really shows up the different layers and colors of the painting.

I used the pretty stamp set from PTI, Botanical Blocks III.  I heat embossed my images in White Embossing Powder.  Then proceeded to water color the pretty flowers.  Sentiment form Through The Trees, stamped in Black Licorice ink.  Candy Dots and Sheer Ribbon accents.  EK Success Punch.

I created this second card in the very same manner.

These floral images are really beautiful and lovely.

Thanks for stopping by!

Watercolor Note Cards

Good Morning!

These sweet little cards will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink. Watercolor Card Sets.

I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets, Botanical Blocks III and Through The Woods.  These beautiful flower stamps are perfect for creating sweet little note cards, these only measure 3 x 4 inches.

Water color using my ink pads and a water brush, this works wonderfully!  Ink splatters, Sakura Gaze Pens and a few 'randomly' placed iridescent sequins for accents.

Perfect little set.

Thanks for buzzing by!

Enjoy~~
