Good Day!  Just a short little post to hi-light some boxes I made for the STV Challenge.  There's still a little time left to play, you should go check it out!

I made these Boxes and Cones with my Mom in mind.  Her "kidnapping" commences this coming Saturday--can't wait!  Hope this gorgeous weather holds, although even a rainy day on Cape Cod is still pretty good!

Decorated with buttons and bling, Baker's twine and Dragon Flies.  I just need to find the right trinket, the prettiest piece of Bling to put in, something beachy, so we all can remember the day!  I was able to cut the cones out with my Cameo--man that little gizmo makes life so much easier.  I also have this program called Sure Cuts Alot 2, which enables me to cut svgs and cut files, almost ANYTHING, yes you read that right, anything I want.  I purchased this program several years ago, so I would NEVER have to buy a Cricut cartridge, which I never have, still only have the one that came with my machine, Don Juan.  Then a few years ago, Provo Craft sued the company making/distributing (not quite sure) this program and the price increased from $50 to $600.  I don't know what they are charging today, just happy that I made the investment back then.

And of course I had to make some matching cards.

Designer Paper:  Anna Griffin, Isabell Collection

These next 2 boxes will probably hold some kind of chocolates.  My Mom is very fond of Chocolate Covered Cherries from The Chatham Candy Manor.

My final 2 boxes were made for the Hubby's 50th Birthday.  My plans included a long weekend away, and a nice get together at the house for family and close friends, cocktails and appetizers.  Needless to say, we celebrated a week late with a small little teeny tiny luncheon for 6. It was all he would ALLOW me to do. So mild mannered and low key, this man of mine.   For his next major birthday I have already told him that there will be a lovely cocktail party, he can come or not!  :)  Men!!!

These were filled with mini Snickers, Andes, mints, lollipops, Marigold seeds, and scratch tickets.  It's hard to find something that everyone likes.    Designer Paper: American Crafts, Travel.

GKD Products:  Stamps; A Year Of Flowers2, All Occasion, Blossom, Dreams Take Flight, Shine On!, Designer Paper; Spring Parade.  Card Stock; Pure Luxury, Blue Raspberry, Sweet Mango, Bubble Gum.  Fibers;  Honey Mustard, Fresh Asparagus, Ocean Mist, Organza.

All Other Products:  SVG Cuts; handled box, cone ornaments, lacy ribbon border, Spring Parade cut files.  EK Success, Triple Butterfly Punch.  Doily, Rhinestones, Ribbon, Baker's Twine, Buttons, Copic Markers, Liquid Pearls, Inks; Stampin' Up! So much for a short little post.....how involved these Blogs become.  :)

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, enjoy!

    1. You're VERY sweet! I just saw this post from SVGCUTS: *** Just a friendly F.Y.I. We recommend that you DO NOT purchase a copy of Sure Cuts A Lot 2 (Cricut Compatible Version) from eBay or Amazon as 99% of them are pirated and illegal. We've been getting emails from customers that are stating that after installing the software, they cannot access the Craft Edge website to update the software or download drivers. (a side effect of installing pirated software). Unfortunately, "authentic" version of Sure Cuts A Lot 2 were taken off the market a few years ago. Leo~~ *** I did buy my copy from The Craft Edge, it was only the 1st Edition of SCAL, but she had a free upgrade to SCAL2.....thankfully mine was not a "pirated" copy bought on Ebay or Amazon. It pays to follow the rules!
