Popping Poppies

   Good Afternoon!

We have had such hot muggy temps for quite awhile, but this
morning we woke up to Fall like weather......LOVE IT!
(unfortunately it will not last)

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Memory Box, White Focal Point.
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.
Dies R Us, Anything Goes.

My front panel was made by cutting a Spellbinders Classic Oval
die and the frame was made by layering a Classic Oval and a Scallop Oval
die together and cutting.  I also added texture with a Swiss Dots  Embossing Folder.
This panel is backed with Foam Squares to raise it up.

My beautiful White Poppies were die cut using the Memory Box die, Row Of Poppies.
Each poppy that is in the center of the Oval has been raised up using Foam Squares.
Happy Birthday die cuts by Cheery Lynn.
I also added Clear Embossing Powder to each one and heat set.

Inside.
Gina K Designs, Stately Flowers 1.
Amalgam Black ink.

I love how the Poppies....well er.....POP.

Thanks for strolling by.

Enjoy~~

Row Of Poppies

 Back Again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at:

Memory Box, Paint.
Simon Says Monday, Add A Quote (is that a quote???)
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

I created my back ground using my Gel Press and water color paints
and a Chevron Stencil.  I layered paints on in several colors, Teal, Blue, White, Orange and a lovely shade of Green.  I also added some paint splatters in Black and White
and also used Heid Swapp Color Shine in Gold.
I created a 5 x 7 piece and then cut it using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.

Memory Box Row Of Poppies die, layered.
Sentiment by Altenew, Always Be Blooming.
Gold Embossing Powder.
Gold Foiled Paper.
Vellum.
Sheer Ribbon.
Sequins.

The sentiment is tiny, but one I love!

If Friends Were Flowers, I'd Pick You!

Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Layered Tags

Back again!

This time I am sharing a couple of Layered Tags I created.

These will be entered into the following Challenges:

Hero Arts, Using a Creativebug Inspiration Theme.
I chose the Day #5 Inspiration, Layered Tags.
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

I've always enjoyed making tags and these are no exception.
I try to add as much as possible to each one.

Tutti Designs Stitched Tags die, cut twice.  One for the tag itself and one to crop for the layering portion.  In this case it was a pale pink card stock which I then ran through that Corrugator Gizmo.

Tutti Designs Stitched Banners dies.
Memory Box Butterfly Exhibit and Row Of Poppies dies, each cropped.
Corner Tab Punch.
Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings stamp set.

Wood Heart .
Cardboard Button.
Adhesive Rhinestones.
White Embossing Powder.
Black and White Gingham Ribbon.
Baker's Twine.

A few layers.

Again I used the Tutti Designs Stitched Tags die, cut twice.
One for the Tag and one cropped for layering, which I ran through my Corrugator Gizmo.
Elizabeth Craft Dandelion Fluff die.
Crafty Ann Butterfly #6 die, cut from Vellum.
Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings stamp set.
Melon Mambo ink.
Clear Embossing Powder.
Vellum.

Ribbon Lace and Pearls.
Pearl Strand.
Adhesive Pearls.
Foam Dot.

Kind of Shabby.  Kind of Chic.

Butterflies And Poppies

Back again on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

On today's card I will show you how easy it is to add just a wee bit of foiling to your card.  You don't need to have a Toner Printer, or even a laminator, just look for products that incorporate it already.  It's easy........

I started with Foiled Paper! See?  Wasn't that easy?!?!
Our Dies R Us Store makes it even easier by carrying some beautiful Foiled Paper
in beautiful Prints and Designs.
Here's a couple by My Mind's Eye and 2 beauties by Pink Paislee.  SO EASY!!!
The Dies R Us Store also carries many brands of other beautiful Paper Pads.

I also added foiling to my card using my Mini Minc and Foiled Toner Sheets.  I die cut my Memory Box Row of Poppies from Hot Pink Foiled Sheets, which I cropped a bit.  These pretty poppies were then adhered to a layered Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles, which were backed with Fun Foam to add dimension.

I used Spellbinders Standard and Scallop Circle dies to stamp my sweet little butterfly on.  Image By Gina K Designs, Birds And Blossoms,
stamped with Raven Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.
Hidden beneath that is a small Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Banners
with Rhinestone accent.
I layered the Dies R Us Butterfly #2 Set and added another Rhinestone accent,  this particular set is no longer available, although we have many, many beautiful Butterfly Dies to choose from.

Pop Dot.
Fun Foam.
WOS.
Pink Ribbon.

Love the Foiled Accents and all of that dimension!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Scrapy Land, Anything Goes
Allsorts, Insects, Bugs, Bees and Butterflies
Crop Stop, Party #39

Here's what I used:

Memory Box - Dies - Row of Poppies

Tutti Designs - Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles

Tutti Designs - Dies - Nesting Stitched Banners

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~
