Row Of Poppies

 Back Again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at:

Memory Box, Paint.
Simon Says Monday, Add A Quote (is that a quote???)
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

I created my back ground using my Gel Press and water color paints
and a Chevron Stencil.  I layered paints on in several colors, Teal, Blue, White, Orange and a lovely shade of Green.  I also added some paint splatters in Black and White
and also used Heid Swapp Color Shine in Gold.
I created a 5 x 7 piece and then cut it using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.

Memory Box Row Of Poppies die, layered.

Gold Embossing Powder.

The sentiment is tiny, but one I love!

If Friends Were Flowers, I'd Pick You!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I was wondering when we would see your gell press creations on a card. I think this worked out very well and I love your design to keep the poppies white. Framing them and suing vellum was a great idea too.

  2. Gorgeous background for those poppies. I love the card arrangement as well with the frame that way.

  3. Wonderful design here. Love the white poppies and that touch of gold. Great background too and the frame really makes the poppies POP! No pun

  4. so very pretty, such a terrific background you have created, I just love the framing with the vellum inside and the flowers against it, beautiful layout!
