Birthday Wishes

Good Morning!

Hope you're all well and safe!

I actually took a beach walk this morning, first time in a very long time and it was glorious!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

In May my Mom will turn 90!  WOW!
I figured I would start making a few cards to see what I liked best for her.

This one uses the Avery Elle Balloon Numbered dies, aren't they cute?
I used more dies than stamps this time around:
MFT;  Cross Stitched Rectangles and Blueprints #12.
Tutti Designs Stitched Tags.
Gina K Designs Wishes die, layered.

Cupcake from the Flourishes Lots of Thoughts stamp set.
Sentiment from the Gina K Designs, Pleasant Plurals stamp set.
White Embossing Powder.
Copic Markers.
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
Baker's Twine.
Sakura Glitter Pen.
WOS.
Sequins.
Corner Rounder.

Foam Dots for that wee bit of dimension.

Thanks for stopping by!

Be well!

Sending Sunshine

Hello!

We have had snow and then beautiful sunshine all Saturday, everything started to melt.  It's been a perfect winter weekend so far

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Monday, Ray Of Sunshine, Stamping Sensations, Anything Goes and Penny Black, Anything Goes, Stamp And Die.

(thanks for the reminder Judy....I love this stamp set!)

Both stamp and die are from Flourishes, Lots Of Thoughts and Perfectly Pierced.  The sunflower was stamped on the die cut and then stamped again and fussy cut out, colored with Copic Markers and then center has been filled with Stickles.

I splattered some Craft Ink onto the card base, colored some Adhesive Pearls and added a bit of ribbon as accents.

A simply sweet card.

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

Sending Sunshine

Good Morning!  Such a beautiful winter morn here.  Too bad it is only 4 degrees with howling winds that make it feel like -16.  Bugger!  But the sun is shining and that helps immensely!

Today's card was made for the Challenge at Power Poppy, The Skies The Limit.

You are asked to be inspired by the skies in your area, sunrises, sunsets, the colors and hues.  I love walking my beach early in the mornings, but not on days like this, that's for sure.  So I went through a bunch of my photos, which I will bore you with in just a bit.

This card uses the Flourishes stamp set, Lots Of Thoughts, designed by Marcella Hawley.  I picked up on the colors from my photos, the oranges, yellows, a touch of pink and the blue sky itself.  Image colored with Copic Markers and a bit of Dazzling Details (Stampin' Up! Stickles).  The Designer Paper is Teresa Collins, Canvas.  MFT border die, Open Bracket and Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Accents are, Chipboard Button, Ribbon, Jute Twine, Button and Adhesive Rhinestones.

I'll send you sunshine, if you send me some warmth.....deal?

Here are some of the skies that inspired me.....

Happy President's Day!

Enjoy~~
