Here is what I created:

 Stampin Up Country Home stamp set.

I masked off the images to create the trio.

Memory Box Lavender Branch.

Created my 'wood grained' background by scoring every 1/4"

and then swiped ink pads directly to paper.

 Inks in;

Tuxedo Black, Dove Gray, Timber Brown

and Walnut Stain.

Copic Markers.

Double D, When Life Hands You Lemons

I made little squares and added them to my card base

they are backed with foam squares for a bit of dimension.

I think the partial design adds some interest.

Double D, Feathers

 Good Morning! 

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog. 

Here is your Inspiration Tile:  

Here is what I created:

I used many different inks, swiping them right on to white card stock

to get all of these great colors.  

And then die cut with Spellbinders Feathers dies.

I then die cut them directly into the card base and inlaid my colorful feathers.

Gina K Designs Stampers Favorites stamp set.

Inks in;

Tuxedo Black, Peeled Paing, Perfect Plum, Picked Raspberry,

Salty Ocean, Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet.

Double D, Potpourri

 Good Morning! 

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog. 

Here is your Inspiration Tile:  

Theme:  Potpourri (def: A mix of things)

For this challenge use anything you see,
can be an object, a mix of colors, a shape/design
For example, sun, cloud, rainbow, an arch shape,
the colors etc.  Just have some fun with it.

 I LOVE those Lupines so that is what I used for inspiration!

It seems that mine never come back from year to year,

but I always see posts all over FaceBook of the wild fields

of them that grow all over Cape Cod!  They are spectacular!

Here is what I created:

The Greetery Curio Cover dies, used to make

my raised bed.
