Hugs

  Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Gina K Designs, Die Cut Sentiment.

Dies R Us, Anything Goes.

Mod Squad Challenge Blog, Perfectly Pantone, Yellow and Grey.

Hosted by my dear friend, Judy Woodland

I used the Gina K Designs products;
Seasons Of Joy, stamp and die set.
Hugs, die set.
Sunbeam Stencil from the Ocean Minded Kit.
Black Embossing Powder.

MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles, layered and cut to create my frame.
Vellum.
Daffodil Delight ink.
Copic Markers.

And this card goes right into the mail!

These next cards will be entered into the Challenge at
Simon Says Wednesday, CAS....Clean And Simple.
I struggle with this style of card,
so I do like to try and make them from time to time.

Here, I have created a set of 4.

I used the Impression Obsession stamp set, Bloom Baby Bloom.
It has these 4 pretty little wreaths, each design a bit different.

Amalgam Black ink.
Copic Markers.
Sakura Glitter Pen.

Same card designs with different wreaths in different colors.

Very Clean, Very Simple.
The struggle is real!

Makes for a pretty little set of note cards.

Over the past couple of months I whipped up a ton of
CAS cards and cards that are nice and flat, no embellishments.
I gave a whole basket of them to my daughter.  Thought she
could keep in touch with her girlfriends via snail mail.
It's been a year....am I right?!?!  Well looooonger than a year!

Thanks for stopping by!  So grateful you do!

Enjoy~~

  1. Love both of the cards! I seem to stay with CAS but keep aspiring and learning to do layered cards.

  2. Well aren't you the clever one with the Pantone colors. I love what you have done with them, great design. Thanks for playing along over at Mod Squad. I love your set of 4 cards too. I am such a fan of the wreath, and I really like that yours are all different. Very sweet, must have been fun to make.

  3. Love the big flower on the first and the framing of it. Like the rays on the background.
Those pretty wreaths are so sweet, love the coloring and the way the sentiment arches around the wreath is so pretty, I bet your daughter was thrilled to have them to keep in touch with friends :)
