Iris Thank You Set

Good afternoon!

It's chilly here at 15 degrees (probably downright balmy to some of you I know) we have a couple of inches of snow but the sun is shining and it looks pretty, from inside by the fire!

I have turned to all things Spring.  Putting away all of the red and green inks and Christmas stamps, grabbing for lovely florals in pretty Spring colors.  Won't you join me?

These will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, 2017 Ala Carte.  You can choose from the long list of Make It Monday Challenges from 2017.

I chose MIM # 292 by Laurie you can find it HERE.

I used the PTI stamps; Flower Favorites and Uncorked

Inks in; Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango,
Wild Wasabi and Raven Black.

I spritzed all over with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Butter.  Layered my White focal panel on to a piece of Purple card stock and then placed it in a wonky manner on to the Blue card base.  I think if you make a flat CAS card placing it in such a manner adds a bit more interest.  And who doesn't like to type the word wonky?!?!

Thanks for popping in, can't wait to see these beauties in real life in my garden LOL

Stay warm, my peeps!

Enjoy~~

Dogwood Blossoms

Donna Phelan back again on the Dies R Us Blog.
Today I am sharing a pretty little all occasion card with you today.

I have used the Poppystamps, Dogwood Blossom Corner die, which at the time of this writing was no longer available in the Dies R Us Store.  Our dies move in and out of the Store so quickly, so if you see something you like I suggest you snatch it up like *snap*.

Luckily we have many other styles of pretty corner dies that may be substituted for this type of creation.  Here is the link to Corner Dies.

I have also used the fantastic Memory Box Distress Windham Collage die.
This set is a must have as it comes with 4 different dies in 4 different designs!

Choosing one of the designs from the Memory Box Distress Windham Collage  I cut the top left portion from the white card stock panel and backed it with a pink card stock, lighter than my card base.  I then  cut the gorgeous Dogwood Blossoms Corner die twice, from pink and green card stock.
I snipped the pretty pink blossoms off, sponged a bit with Melon Mambo ink
and layered over the green die cut.

Heat embossed my sentiment in White Embossing Powder on a pink card stock strip and adding a few Adhesive Pearls for my accents.  My Designer Paper was a perfect match found in my stash.  Corner punch and an extra layer of pink card stock to show a bit more interest to my design.

If I fold this card inside out for mailing I may be able to get away with a single stamp....shhhhhh!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Poinsettia Thank You

Back again!

Just whipped up about 20 of these simple Poinsettia Thank You cards....I kind of love them!

These will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV, Thank YouSimon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes and Penny Black, CAS.  I will also enter these at All Sorts, Seasonal Flowers.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Perfect Poinsettias and Lots Of Thanks.  The Poinsettia is a 4 stamp layering process, 4 for the pink petals and 4 for the yellow centers.  Soooo it really is a lot of stamping for a set of 20 of these.  Plus the sentiment.  Thankfully a few years back my dear friend gifted me with a Misti.....PHEW!  Makes all the difference!

Using a pale blue Copic Marker I outlined the Poinsettia to add a bit more depth.

Inks;
Raven Black
Pink Pirouette
Melon Mambo
Rose Red
So Saffron
Daffodil Delight
Crushed Curry

Card Stock;
Pink
Black
Yellow
White

Each card measures 4" x 4" and if you place them in a regular size envelope
there is no extra postage.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it when you do!
