Teacher Thank You

 Good Morning!

I asked if Lori needed a couple of Teacher cards for the year end, and she said yes.

Penny picked Tiger Shark (Great White was taken lol).

Her teacher came right up to me and asked; "are you the infamous Nana'?
Not sure if I should be worried or proud lol

Nautical Thanks

 Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

This is for our favorite restaurant owner, Gabe.
He runs the Hot Stove Saloon in Harwich Port and we have been
going there for 20 years, since he opened.
Back in 2017 when he found out we were going to be Grandparents he gave
us a sweet little HSS T-shirt for the baby, Penny.
Last week we had her for a few days and took her there, she finally
got to meet Gabe and when he saw her he said 'come with me'
Penny is now the owner of a very stylish HSS Sweatshirt!
Gabe is just too, too kind!

Oh, and if you ever go, order the Zucchini Fries!
<chef's kiss>

Papertrey Ink July 2016 Blog Hop

Playing along again in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

This card will also be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Monday, Add Some Texture and Scrapyland, Emboss It (heat or dry)

Butterfly Love

Well hello!

I trust you all survived the Holidays.  Ours were just lovely, but I am glad that they are over, turning the calendar on a new page, a bright clean slate!  I always love this time of year....the beginning when ALL things are possible.  Happy New Year!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Adding Color To Stamped Images and Mod Squad, One Die Cut, hosted by the ever popular Kathy Krug   Head on over to her Blog and read about some very exciting news she has going on!  ;)

I had fun with this card, so nice to use fresh bright colors......Christmas was so last year lol.  I used the Papertrey Ink stamp and dies set, Flower Favorites (butterflies), stamp set, Daydreamer (colorful dots) and the Swoosh die (word die cuts).

I cut out the butterflies completely, stamped the images and then colored a bit deeper color outlining the butterflies (kind of hard to see).  I then added a crease and mounted them on the negative space of the card stock, lined with black card stock underneath.....they kind of POP a bit more like this!  I also added a bit of Wink Of Stellar Clear to the single yellow dots.

Thanks so much for popping in....now rush right on over to wish Kathy future success!

Enjoy~~

Heartfelt Thanks

Good Sunday Morning!  Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today's creation will be entered into the following Challenges:

Dies R Us, Fall #36
Mod Squad, Give Thanks
Simon Says Wednesday, Thanks/Thanksgiving
Tag You're It, Photo Inspiration
Stamp TV, 1, 2, 3 Make Your Own Recipe

Of course I was totally drawn to the birdhouses!

My Recipe:  1) Sentiment
                      2) Wheat Die Cuts
                      3) Falling Leaves

I used some of my all time favorite stamp sets from Gina K Designs; Autumn Beauty, Heartfelt and Home Tweet Home. (I probably call a lot of her stamp sets my favorite.....and it's true!)  Images colored with Copic Markers and stamped on the Stitched Traditional Tag die cut by MFT (truly a favorite die of mine!)  Button and twine and some burlap ribbon and one small enamel brad for accent.

Found this great paper pack in my stash by S-E-I, Dill Blossom.  Just had to stamp some wheat stalks/not quite sheaves in the background using Antique Linen ink.  And then I remembered a dear crafting friend sent me so many die cuts one day, pulled out the wheat ones....thank you Kathy!  If you ever want to see how to use die cuts and flowers galore just check out her BLOG!   Fantastic!

Thanks so much for coming by.  I did ALL of my chores yesterday so today I get to PLAY!  What's better than that?

Enjoy~~

Give Thanks

Hello!

Today Great Impressions is sponsoring the Challenge at The Shabby Tea Room.

Here is their Inspiration Photo:

I used the beautiful C31 Pine Cone Sprig stamp from Great Impressions.  Stamping it 3 times on to a Spellbinders Rectangle die and coloring it with Copic Markers.  I then splattered it using Gold Craft Paint and my trusty old toothbrush.....love that!  Added white dots to the holly berries using a Sakura White Glaze Pen.

And lastly, topped it off with a thanks die cut and green burlap ribbon tab.

Thank You for dropping by here.

Enjoy~~
