Inspiration Station, 

 I was inspired by the bright happy colors and fond memories

of getting a sweet treat at the local carnivals.

Here I have used some bright happy citrus colors. 

 

I made a card for Penny for the end of the year celebration, 

even though she does not get a graduation party this year.  

I think she'll survive!

Teacher Thank You

This card will be entered into the 

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes!

I asked if Lori needed a couple of Teacher cards for the year end, and she said yes.

We went to Penny's 'Animal Musuem' last Friday.

The kids pick an animal, research fun facts, write a book and a riddle and draw their animal and sculp one from clay. 

Penny picked Tiger Shark (Great White was taken lol).

Her teacher came right up to me and asked; "are you the infamous Nana'?

Not sure if I should be worried or proud lol

She also knew exactly who Gramps was lol

You Color My World

Hello again!

This simple little card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Make A Rainbow.

Truly this is an easy card to make.

 

 

A little water colored background and simple stamping process.  Nothing fancy!  The stamp set is A Life She Loved  by Taylored Expressions, which happens to be an AWESOME stamp set!

Although I do like the idea of this card, I don't think I executed it very well.  I should have kept the colors lighter.....brighter.....the blues and greens on the right are too dark, it's hard to see the image.  Maybe I should have colored them all in in black.  Hmmm.....perhaps I will try again.

Beautiful Things

Good Morning!  Everyday we grab the shovel....that is all about that!!!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Just Us Girls, To Make Your Sentiment The Focal Point.  Lots of beautiful inspiration from the Team and the entries look just as amazing! 

This was fun to try, looking through my stamp sets I came across this perfect one from Taylored Expressions, The Life She Loved set......LOVE it!!!

 

 

I used GKD Pure Luxury card stock in Ocean Mist, Black Onyx, and White.  Bermuda Bay and Tuxedo Black inks, black and white gingham ribbon and a few black enamel dots.  The die is from My Favorite Things, Vertical Frame.  The card measures 5.5 x 3.25 inches.

Love The Life You Create

Powerful words.....Love The Life You Create.....or.....Create The Life You Love.....I think I could stop my post here and just let you all talk amongst yourselves!  Ha!  But I won't.

I saw a card made by Dina Kowal with this fabulous stamp set from Taylored Expressions,  A Life She Loved.  When I saw it I KNEW I had to own it.  Ordered it on a Thursday and it was in my mailbox on Saturday.....AND by Saturday afternoon it had ink on it!  Life is good (knock on wood!)

So today's card is just one made for the sheer JOY of making a card with a fabulous stamp set!

Just one of those sets that makes your heart beat a little bit faster.  The Designer Paper is by Authentique, Gathering Collection.  Image colored with Copic Markers.  A little ribbon, 2 ribbon tabs, and adhesive rhinestones added as accents.  I LOVE this!!!  I hope you do too.
