Pink Merry Christmas

Good Morning!

A couple of weeks ago Stamp TV had a Challenge to CASE a Design Team Member, which I did....only I never read the fine print and you were to CASE one of Karen's cards....my good pal Judy pointed this out to me.....so now I have this pretty little Christmas card CASED from Laurie Schmidlin.  Stamp TV seems to be having a few technical difficulties this morning so I am unable to include Laurie's beautiful card here.  But it was spectacular--she has a very unique and beautiful way of creating which I love.

My card will be entered into the Challenges at;  Scrapy Land, Anything Goes, Stamping Sensations, Christmas Greetings and Penny Black, Anything Christmas.

I used the stamp sets Let It Snow and Season's Greetings by Gina K Designs.  Sentiment stamped in Black Licorice ink, snowflakes in Pink Pirouette.  The little blue piece of Designer Paper has been stitched on using my Janome Mini Sewing Machine.

Accents:  Pink Gingham Ribbon and Seam Binding Ribbon colored with a Copic Marker.  Doily, Button, Twine.  Adhesive Pearls and Wooden Snowflake colored with a Copic Marker.

Thanks so much for coming by.

Enjoy~~

Winter Wonderland

Good Friday Morning!

Let's get right to it!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Let It Snow and Season's Greetings.  I knew I just had to make a Shaker Card!!!  Using Purple Embossing Powder I created my snowflake background.  This particular powder has glitter in it.....sooooo sparkly!  My shaker window was created using the Papertrey Ink Fabulous Frames die and Fun Foam.  The easiest way to make one by far!   The shaker is filled with purple and iridescent sequins and glitter in purples and whites.  FUN!  I added texture to the frame using the Snowflakes Embossing Folder by Darice.

My snowman was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut out.  I had this awesome purple glitter paper in my stash.  I die cut several of the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourishes and snipped them apart, adding the pieces everywhere.  It gives it a nice blustery feel and you hardly notice the leaves.  lol  I also die cut Winter Wonderland using Sizzix Holiday Words dies. (thanks Carol)

Sakura Black Glaze Pen to accentuate the snowman's coal buttons, eyes, and smile.  Sheer White Ribbon.   On these hot summer days, I wish he would breathe down my neck hahaha

This Shaker Card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Stamp TV, Color Me, use a bit of coloring
Double D, Shades Of Purple
Scrapy Land, Emboss It (heat or dry)
Simon Says Monday, Add Some Texture
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Cheery Lynn, Christmas In July

Thanks for blowing in.....

Enjoy~~

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow......

But, not really!  lol

Hello again!  Even though at the time of typing this my house is not clean nor decorated, I hope by the time this posts all will be calm, all will be bright.....with nary a dust bunny in sight!  Ha!  Fingers crossed!

I must say this has been one of the most FUN cards for me to make, totally inspired by Pinterest with a few minor changes.

And please remember if you see something you like here, I did manage to figure out how to add that Pin Button.....just hover over any image and it should appear in the top left corner, making it very easy for you to pin it to one of your boards, perhaps for future inspiration.  But, please do not ask me HOW I did it.....I had to fiddle around with some online code for a little bit inserting into the perfect line.....oy vay!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Mod Squad, Frosty The Snowman, Simon Says Monday, Holiday Cards, and Simon Says Wednesday, Christmas/Holidays.

Here is my card:

Isn't it just ridiculously cute and clever?  Now remember, I can say that as it is not my design, I merely CASED it!  The snowman image is from the Gina K Designs sets, Wishing You Joy and the sentiment and snowflakes are from the Let It Snow set (the snowman in that particular set was much too large to do this style card--but he is super cute too!)  The Designer Paper is by Teresa Collins, Hello My Name Is, this pad is on clearance at Michael's and is full of rustic colors with browns and tans and reds, love it!  The images were stamped 3 times on separate little pieces of card stock and minimally colored with Copic Markers.  The snow drifts were made by tearing thin card stock and then I added a bit up texture using a Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Of course I had to add an edging of sparkly snow so I used Gina's Prismatic Glitter in Frozen......speaking of Frozen I was at a craft store yesterday and there was this sweet little girl singing Let It Go at the top of her lungs, so cute from my point of view, but probably not so much from her Mom's lol.  I added a bunch of rhinestones to all the little snowflakes for more sparkle and some Baker's Twine for a matching accent.  Just super cute!  And you all know this is exactly WHERE I like my snow......sorry Lee!

Merry Merry!
