Autumn Blessings

Good Afternoon!

A Chilly Fall day here, but I welcome it!

Today's card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Stamp TV, Fall Is In The Air
Stamping Sensations, I Spy The Letter 'B' (Blessings Or Blossoms)
Scrapy Land, Anything Goes #98
Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Favorite Technique

I started with a wood grain background by scoring my card stock every 1/4 inch.  I then swiped inks all over it to get just the right look.  The inks I used were; Wild Honey, Antique Linen and White. My stamps are by Gina K Designs; Beyond Baskets, Fanciful Fall and Fill It With Flowers.  Images colored with Copic Markers.  I also heat embossed the galvanized bucket using Black Embossing Powder.

I enjoy coloring with Copic Markers I also enjoy fussy cutting images out, so these were my favorite techniques for this card.  The corner die is by Cheery Lynn, Lace Corner Deco H.  Plaid Designer Paper, Ribbon, Button and Twine for accents.  Raven Black ink.

I popped up one blossom for a bit of dimension.  Another favorite technique.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy~~

Double D, Flowers Galore!

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Check out this Inspirational Tile to get your creative juices flowing!  Gorgeous, right???

Here's what I came up with!  I know, I have A LOT going on here!  But I love it!

I created my wood grain background first, picking up on the natural look of that wood crate in the Inspirational Photo.....which I then carried on to my lovely wood barrel.  Natural and Rustic, a combo that can't be beat!  I used several beautiful stamp sets from Gina K Designs to create this card (which, by the way, was extremely FUN); Beyond Baskets, Birthday Blessings, Fill It With Flowers (boy did I ever!) and Folk Filigree.  Inks in Always Artichoke, Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, and Wisteria Wonder.  I just kept stamping flowers wherever I wanted.  Fantastic!

I framed this all in using the Papertrey Ink, Shakers & Sprinkles dies set.  I also added a few 3D flowers and vines using the Poppy Stamps die set, Large Madison Window, this comes with a flower box die and everything you need to fill it with.  Each flower has a seed bead center.   My sentiment is stamped in Brutus Monroe Raven Black ink and then heat embossed with Clear Powder onto a Vellum strip.  Copic Markers.  Adhesive Pearls.

Only if gardening were this easy!  I find the two equally rewarding though!

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a fabulous prize up for grabs!

Hope you have a pretty day!

Enjoy~~

Transport It

Good Day!

Another Fall card for you today, which will be entered into the Challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday, Transport it!  Let me just say if someone wheeled this wheelbarrow full of sunflowers into my yard, I wouldn't hate it!  :)

The stamp sets are from Gina K Designs, Beyond Baskets and Harvest Of Wishes, 2 perfect sets for some Fall time fun!  I colored the wheelbarrow with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out.  Spellbinders Label Eight die used, which I sponged with green, a lighter green and a yellow ink.  The sunflowers were leftover from a previous card, Harvest Wishes.  This time I added a bit of Stickles to the flowers, some yellow, orange, and bronze for the centers.   A little ribbon tied up and 3 different colored Adhesive Rhinestones.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

Hope you are all enjoying the Fall like I am!  Love It!  Change can be good!

Thank you as always, for coming by, appreciate you doing so!

Enjoy~~

Harvest Wishes

Hello!  Back again!  I will be entering this Thanksgiving card into the Challenge hosted by Sharyn, over at the Mod Squad Blog, Word Challenge-Holiday and the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.

Don't you just love Fall with the cooler temps and crisp fresh air?  I know I do!  This card uses the stamp sets, Harvest Of Wishes and Beyond Baskets, by Gina K Designs.  I fussy cut out the stamped wooden barrel and after stamping several sunflowers (all images colored with Copic Markers) I cut them out using Spellbinders Classic Circle die.  I cut them in half and stacked them up how I thought they would look nice in a big wooden barrel.  ;)   The sentiment was also cut using the same circle die.  The pumpkin was just squared off by hand.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Enjoy~~
