Papertrey Ink Summer Challenge

 Good Morning!

Papertrey Ink is having a magnificent Summer Challenge!

You must incorporate these 3 techniques into your creation:

Ink Blending.
Die Cut Layering.
Stenciling.

Here is what I created:

I used the Papertrey Ink Products;
Day Dreamer stamp and dies.
Ruby Reprise stamp set, sentiment.
Mix and Mat Flourish dies.
Fun Frames dies.
Make It Market Garden Gate Kit, stencil.
Green Tea Leaves Designer Paper.

Stenciled ink blending with Cracked Pistachio and Peeled Paint inks.
Die cut layering with the Mix and Mat Flourish and Fun Frames dies.
Stenciling from one of the stencils included in the Garden Gate Kit.

I love that slotted rectangle die cut from the Mix and Mat Flourish set.
After die cutting I added thin foam strips to the back of the slots that were die cut.
They all are all popped up and add some great interest and texture,
an eclipse technique if you will.

Inside.

A FUN card to create!

Other supplies:
Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi inks.
Gold Foil Paper.

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

I had the best 'Deli Guy' in all the land.
Bob was great and we became friendly over the years.
And then....he retired....my cheese has not been cut correctly since lol
He will be missed, but I know he has big plans for his retirement!
I aspire to be him!  Wink Wink

I thought this card would be perfect for a Cape Cod Retirement!

I used the Gina K Designs Ocean Minded Kit.
Stencil is included in that Kit.
Distress inks in; Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick.
Amalgam Black ink.

Copic Markers.
Sakura Glitter Pen.
WOS.

Ahhhhhhh!

Thanks for breezing by!

College Graduation

  Good Morning!

Happy 3 days after Christmas!
Hope you all enjoyed family, friends and some time off!
We were blessed to be all back together again.

In 2020 my Mom was on complete lockdown, so this year
we were all reunited and it feels so good!
I'm also excited that in 2021 we were able to visit in person!!!

I am hopeful that 2022 will become a more 'normal' year!

Now on to my card!

I will enter it into the following Challenges:

Gina K Designs, Ink Blending.
Simon Says Wednesday, It's Time To Party.

This card was created for of our Nephew, Tommy,
who has just graduated college and has a bright future ahead of him!
YAY!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Wonderful World and Pleasant Plurals.
The stencil is from her Ocean Minded Kit.
Distress Inks in; Iced Spruce, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans.
Spellbinders Standard and Scallop Circle dies.

 Black Embossing Powder.
