Happy Mother's Day

Good Morning!

My Hubby actually asked what I was going to do today.....I think I laughed right in his face.
Doesn't he know by now how I am saving the world right from my craft room?

Soooooo this card will be entered into the Challenges at;

Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Dies R Us, Things With Wings.

I took out my PTI Garden Gate Kit which I haven't used in forever!  Was able to create this fancy fold gate fold card using the actually gate and lattice dies from the Kit.
Using the Cheery Lynn Small Lace Butterfly die, cut from Yellow Glitter Paper as a front focal point.  Despite the name it is quite large.  The Yellow Gingham Ribbon was adhered to the back of this panel and ties for a nice closure.

Untied.

Inside fully opened.
My Hollyhocks from the Kit were placed in Memory Box's Simple Garden Pot dies.
Inks in; Amalgam Black, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight,
Garden Green, Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi.
Thin Green Ribbon.
Green Polka Dotted Ribbon.

DIes R Us Butterfly Set #2 dies.
Rhinestones.

Vellum Butterfly.
RHinestone.
Lattice and Wisteria dies.

Sentiment by MFT, Sweet Roses.

I would love to have this view on my back porch.
This was all mounted to a Top Folding A2 card.

Thanks for popping in!

Stay well!

Stay Safe!

STAY HOME!

  1. Wow that is gorgeous, beautiful from the outside and such a wonderful surprise when it is opened! I have been making an effort to get in my room each day and create. I have all my Easter cards done and have managed to get quit a few cards made for those in our church that live alone, now I will be working on ones for those that aren't well at this time. Love your reaction to your hubby on what you were going to do :)

  3. This is just beautiful. I haven't used that PTI set in forever either. Had forgotten about it (as with so much of what I have). You have used it perfectly, I really like your pretty spring colors. Such a lovely card for Edie.

  4. For some reason I have not been notified when you are posting on your blog. This morning I got a notice of a new post and went there and saw a gazillion posts that you have done. Sorry I have missed so many comments. You have been one busy lady. I was particularly glad to see you doing the MFT sketch challenges again. You can always take a simple sketch and turn it into something fabulous. I love this card with all the PTI dies. I bought two of the paper packs when they went on sale several years ago and I am still using them.
