Happy Birthday Pine Cones

Happy Friday!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Monday, Gentlemen and Wednesday, Let It Snow.

I kind of love how this came out!

I used the pretty pine bough and pine cone stamp from Gina K Designs, Peace And Joy, the sentiment is from Follow Your Dreams.  Images colored with Copic Markers.

3 thin ribbons to match the card colors.  White craft paint splatters and some Aleene's Glitter Snow (thinned with a bit of water) for snow.

I have another post this afternoon, using this same image.  Ya know how we are ALWAYS wanting the next new stamp set or products, I think you do......well just out of curiosity's sake I wanted to make another card a Christmas card with it.  Image that....you CAN make different cards using everything you already have.  You're welcome!  lol

Thanks so much for popping in.

Oh and if you'd like to know what was wrong with my Window Scene Shaker card from yesterday here is the answer:  Why would you have a window box on the inside of your window scene which looks outside to a snowy tree landscape???  DOH!

Merry Merry!

  1. OMGosh!! I love, love, love that birthday card. The sparkles are the perfect touch. AND, I see nothing wrong with a indoor window box ;)

  2. Haha -yep, I caught the thing on the window shaker card. But I think with something like this you can take poetic license and do what you want...lol Your card for today is gorgeous - I love the colors of ribbon together, and this is definitely a man card. And the white splatters are perfect here....why don't you enter it in the PTI Make It Monday this week....it's splatters. Oh, and you are right, you can make do with the stamps you have, but.....that's no fun...lol. Just kidding, that's a good reminder. Your card is beautiful!!!

  3. OK, so I didn't get that at first, which means I would've done the same thing if I had the creative mind that you do! Love the pine in this card. Just gorgeous!

  4. Honestly, I figured it out, but still love your window card and would make it again. Now, on the birthday card. You and I must really be on the same page. I absolutely love this masculine card. My card is sitting on my desk all ready for my MSC for January. Using the same stamp and a birthday card. Hahaha! More likely it is a great masculine stamp to use, but I like to think that we just think and do alike. I do like your white background on your card, mine ...... Well you will, have to wait until January to see.
