Happy Birthday Odomenter

Our son in law, Tim turned 40 on March 26th!

Thought he would enjoy an odometer Birthday card, more or less lol

I used a set by Recollections for the numbers which were stamped in Amalgam Black ink and heat embossed in Black Powder.  Each number was stamped on to a smaller square of card stock.  Then I trimmed the tops and bottoms to show movement, going from 39 to 40....in the blink of an eye lol

Many layers of black and red card stock.

A really FUN card to make, I think he enjoyed it!

Plus Penny and I did an original drawing of him for a Birthday Poster.

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Happy Birthday!

 

 

I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Avant Garden and the Gina K Designs stamp set, Stamp It Big 2.  Inks in; Raven Black, Antique Linen, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi.  I masked off a 'sentiment line' and then began stamping my pretty flowers on either side. This big bold sentiment fit in nicely. 



 

A little strip of Washi Tape on either end for accents.  I also dotted in lots of pink using a Copic Marker.  A quick and easy happy birthday card.  Nice and flat, no extra postage required and easily mailed form my own mailbox.

Happy WCMD!

Good Morning!  Hope you are all seeking shelter form this storm (Joaquin) in your craft room on this wonderful World Card Making Day!  Or as my Hubby says, just another typical day in my life!  :)

I made this birthday card for one of my very dear online BFF's, Judy!  I will enter into the Challenges at  Simon Says WCMD and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

Judy always seems to be flabbergasted by my love and use of layers, so I kind of went over the top on this design! 

 

Designer Papers are The Gathering Collection, by Authentique.  Inks in Always Artichoke, Antique Linen, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Timber Brown and Tuxedo Black.

MFT Bracket Edge Duo dies.

 

Papertrey Ink stamps and dies; Day Dreamer.  MFT Simply Fabulous Sayings sentiments stamp set.

 

I just loved making this card, it measures 5.5" squared.

Good Morning!  I am afraid Mo and Jo have gone missing, if found PLEASE return! (plus I have no time to play  *sigh*).

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Oh My Stars, hosted by one of my BFFs, the ever generous and talented Barbara Campbell,  Simon Says Monday, Thanks and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

 

I used the Stamp It Big 2 set from Gina K Designs.   Ink in Real Red.  The dies are by MFT, Sun, Moon And Stars.   The stars are cut from glitter paper and popped up on 3D dots.  Splattered a little bit of craft paint in blue all over background using my trusty (old) toothbrush.  Punched 2 holes to insert ribbon and tied in knot.  Corner Rounder.

 

Moooooooo  Joooooooo come home you are desperately needed!
