Spring Love

Love is in the air this fine Spring morning!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Basket Blessings and Garden Silhouettes.
Inks in;
Amalgam Black, Faded Jeans, Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber,
Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet.





MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles,
Which I created a border mask for and then blended my inks on to.
Sheer Ribbon.

A CAS design.



This next card will be entered into the  
Memory Box, Beautiful Backgrounds.



I have fallen in looooove with this Circle Link Embossing Folder.  
It's just perfect for an Engagement card, don't you think?  
It creates such beautiful texture!

  4. Wow beautiful job blending the inks for your background on the first card, your silhouette looks great against it. The sheer ribbon looks fantastic with it too!
    I just love your engagement card, such great textures going on and layering, it all comes together fantastic!! I have some wedding showers coming up soon that I need cards for too.

  5. Beautiful cards. That ink blending on the first one is GORGEOUS, the iris silhouette is perfect. And I, too, am in love with that Circle Link EF!!! The texture is just right for a wonderful background. I really like the vintage look of the second card, using the embossed vellum is GENIUS!!!

  7. Two beautiful cards here Donna! The ink blending on the first card is fabulous. The iris truly pops right off the card! I love the second card equally as much. Lots of great texture and it definitely has a vintage, homespun feel to it. Happy spring and Happy Easter to you!

  8. You did some great ink blending on your first card. It reminds me of a beautiful spring sunset. That silhouette is first class. I am loving the many layers of texture on the second card. Could you have added any more? I think it is perfect.
