Fall Sunflowers

Back again!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Power Poppy, Over The Edge.
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

My dear friend, Barbara Campbell is a guest host over at Power Poppy!
How cool is that?!?!
I am soooo thrilled that Marci and the gang have recognized her talents.
Yippee and Yahoo!

Barb is just one of those wildly talented gals,
she is kind and generous and a happy little soul.
I am so thankful to call her friend!  Love Ya, Barb!!!

You can check out her awesome Challenge here:  Over The Edge
and her  awesome Blog here:  My Creative Room.
You should really check out both!
And while you're there leave a little love for her!  xoxo

I used the Power Poppy die sets,  In Praise of Sunflowers and Short Stacks!
That sunflower is perfect for creating cards for this time of year!
I stamped the large sunflower image off the paper, in Amalgam Black ink,
turned and did it again.   I also added a couple of extra leaves here and there.
Images colored with Copic Markers.

Placed a wonky panel, covered with my stamped panel.
Added a bit of chunky Jute Twine for accent and ink splatters
in Timber Brown and Crushed Curry.
Fun Foam, the stamped panel is nice and sturdy.

Now run right over to Barb's place and her AHmazing Challenge!

Gooooooooooooooooooooo!

  1. Beautiful, lovely coloring of your sunflowers, they look so great off the edge, I should try doing that :) I like how you turned the image too!

  2. I just came back from a visit with my son, that was nice enough, but this morning when I saw your post....well it just added to the special weekend. I am so glad that you had time to make this card and enter it in the challenge. Your coloring is superb and your signature wonky panel and the jute twine make for a fabulous card. Look at you adding extra leaves too. Then those ink splatters, I wish that I could be that free with them. Always scary for me. Thanks for the accolades, you are a great and wonderful friend.
