Autumn Greetings and Happy BIrthday

Good afternoon!

Gorgeous Fall day here!  Cool temps, quieter tourists lol

My first card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Gina K Designs, Fall Is In The Air
(make your own stamped background or use GKD Designer Paper)
Stamping Sensations, Anything Goes With Flowers
Scrapy Land, Anything Goes
Dies R Us, Nature
Allsorts, Autumn
Wow Embossing Powder, Embellishments

This card uses Gina K Designs stamp sets;
Perfect Pallets, Rustic Autumn and Something Good In Every Day.
Amalgam Black, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Timber Brown inks.
I stamped 4 of the long sized pallets for my background, flipping the stamp so the details would not be all in the same direction.  I then stamped 1 more long pallet and 2 of the smaller sized ones to created the 'gate' portion of my fence and fussy cut them out.
I backed the 2 smaller ones with Fun Foam to add dimension.

4 Brads.
Fussy cut leaves and flowers.
Glitter.

Cheery Lynn Watering Can die, which I colored with Copic Markers.
Layered it on card stock and a piece of chip board.
I also coated it with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed Clear Embossing Powder on it.
Cheery Lynn Wheat Heads die.

Has a nice bit of dimension to it.

This next card will be entered into the Challenges at:

My Favorite Things, Birthday Project, Gift Cards

I didn't have a Gift Card handy so I folded up a $20 bill to show you
how you can slide something behind the Tag.

I used the MFT products:
 Sweet Roses stamps and dies.
Wonky Stitched Rectangles die.
Stitched Traditional Tags dies.
Fairy Happy stamp set for sentiment, cut and cropped.

Flowers and leaves colored with Copic Markers.
Amalgam Black ink.
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
PTI Classic Kraft Designer Paper.
Fun Foam and Foam Dots.

Sheer Ribbon
Natural Twine
Heart Button
Eyelet
Sequins
WOS

I do love a little bit of dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Enjoy~~

  1. Your autumn gate is a very creative design and so welcoming too. Love the dimension on the watering can colored to look real and you didn't stop there. The addition of the clear embossing power is genius. Love the fall flowers, this is a Beauteous card. The next gift card has tons of layers, your specialty and love that special layer. Someone is going to be very lucky.

  2. Beautiful cards, both of them. You are such an enabler, I didn't think I needed Mel's new set, but now I'm second guessing. You have achieved that garden gate look perfectly. Gorgeous layers on our second card and I love all the texture. Plus you have colored your flowers beautifully. Great color palette too. FABULOUS creations, my dear!!
