Double D, Birthday

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

I fell in love with the bottom right corner.

Here is my card:

I used the Power Poppy stamp set, Party Time!  Perfect for any celebration!
I stamped my image in Amalgam Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Die cut using Spellbinders, Classic and Scallop Ovals.  I then coated the entire die cut with Heat And Stick Powder, heated that and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter all over.
Heated a second time to seal it all in.
This will certainly leave a sparkle wherever it goes,
however it will all stay on the card! lol

I added some pretty Gold Foil accents to the inside and outside using the MFT Stitched Ric Rac border die.  This was a free gift a month or two ago when making a purchase. I also found some great mini gold sequins in my stash and 'randomly' added them.
Gold Twine.
Heart Button.
Sakura Gold Pen.
WOS.

Inside.

May all of your celebrations sparkle!!!

This card will also be entered into the Challenge at;

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Here's the prize for this Challenge:

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

  2. Ha, ha! You and I were inspired by the same corner. Great minds think alike even when crafting. The difference was that you used the whole cake, I just did a slice. Love yours!

  6. Love your take on the black and white stripes and birthday, Donna! So cute, and feels like a party! Your darling heart button even has the metallic thread woven and tied through it! Makes a great finish. The inside is extra cute the way you positioned the border stamp. I followed it right through to the single, special candle! Beautiful card, Donna! xx
