I have a birthday card to share with you today! It was so much FUN making this for a dear friend, hope she enjoys my efforts in 'paper gardening' :)
This will be entered into the Challenges at; Scrapy Land, Anything Goes, Penny Black. Something New and Simon Says Wednesday, Layer It Up!
A dear card making friend, Rebecca, was so kind and generous and sent me this fabulous Magnolia Doo Hickey magazine and a sweet little Magnolia stamp. The magazine is full of dies, it's Volume 4, Le Jardin issue. Using the window die I created a fun little shaker background. I also used some of foliage dies to create all things pretty!
My flowers are made with Mulberry Paper and Cheery Lynn Small Gardenia flower dies. More foliage made with the Cheery Lynn Wheat Heads die.
Paper Smooches Foliage 1 & 3 die sets.
Sizzix Labels And Stitched Frames.
Large and small beads for flower centers.
Rhinestone Flourish.
Corner Punch.
Glitter & Sequins.
Gina K Designs Stately Flowers 8 sentiment stamped in Melon Mambo ink.
MFT Stitched Traditional Tags.
Circle Rhinestones.
I used Foam Dots to keep the shutters in place.
The Mulberry Paper gives a lovely soft quality to the flowers, almost felt-like.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Enjoy~~
Absolutely Gorgeous card! I don't think I've ever seen a window shaker before, but I love the idea! Such beautiful flowers to decorate the corners -- just so very, very pretty!

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet window with the shutters, and the way that you used the flowers to decorate it is marvelous. Making it a shaker and the added pearls are striking and I know that the person you made it for will be thrilled. (I think I know who)
