This card is the polar opposite of my last one! Someone on Face Book was selling some of their slightly used PTI stamp and die sets, so I picked these up for a song! YAY! Perhaps little Penny will like to dance!
This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Heat Embossed Stencil Backgrounds, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes, Penny Black, Something New, Allsorts, No Pattern Paper and WOW! Embossing Powder, All About Hearts.
I used the Papertrey Ink products; Ballerina Beauty stamp and die sets, both new to me! The background stencil is from the Garden Gate Kit and was heat embossed in pretty Gold Embossing Powder. It really looks so lovely on the Pink card stock.
Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Stars and MFT Blueprint #12 dies used. Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for a bit of texture and interest. Adhesive Pearls and Sakura Glitter Pen.
I think she is wicked cute!
Thanks for dancing in!
Enjoy~~

What an absolutely adorable stamp. I love everything about this card, that little ballerina just makes me smile. Wonderful colors, and that background is fabulous! I bet Penny will love to dance!
ReplyDeleteThis is ADORABLE!! What fun you purchased these stamp/die sets ... always exciting to receive happy mail. Being an EX-ballerina myself (OMG sooooo long ago lol) this card really spoke to me. Too cute! Great design my friend! Keep 'em coming! Stay warm ...
ReplyDeleteGreat way to use that stencil for lots of texture and to make that cute ballerina the center of attention. Just like Penny!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Donna! That little ballerina is adorable! Lovely background too! :o)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and yes, I can imagine photos in years to come featuring little Penny dancing just as happily! I especially like the use of a STAR behind your dancer. FANTASTIC design idea, and sure to make any feel happy seeing this - I never really thought about how a star in a design can be a source of encouragement and support. Thanks for that idea! Hope you are enjoying a great day, Donna. Wonderful card! hugs, de
ReplyDeleteWonderful card for a little girl. And, yes! No doubt Penny will want to dance. I think most girls did. I know I was always trying to imitate a ballerina when a kid. Now I can't even fathom trying as I would no doubt break my leg or neck. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove that stenciled background. Backing that sweet little ballerina with a star is perfect. I'm sure little Penny will love to dance & twirl.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable and the pink with gold is perfect!
ReplyDeletewow, it always amazes me when I see posts that are with all these challenges, I am lucky to get one done :) That is just the cutest, I love the gold embossing on background. She is so sweet with her rosy cheeks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabbie purchase, perfect for a Penelope card one day :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the embossed background, pink and gold go so well together! xx
