Fancy Tag

Good Afternoon!

This sweet little Tag will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Packaging Inspiration, Penny Black, Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday, Special Lady /Girl.

I used the MFT Stitched Traditional Tags dies.  I cut one out of a neutral chip board and one out of a pale pink card stock.  Layered the large tag with a strip of Papertrey Ink Berry Sorbet Designer Paper and some sparkly Gold Washi Tape.  I found a Vellum Envelope in my stash and trimmed the top off using an MFT Bracket Edge Duo die.  Spellbinders Hearts dies cut twice.  One was stamped with a little heart and the other with a Mother's Day sentiment, both from Papertrey Ink, Pretty Petals and Tag Its #2 sets.  The pink tag fits nicely into the sweet little envie.

Then I just added a bunch of accents.  Heart and Gold Glitter Brads.  Paper Doily and Flouncy Pink Ribbon.  Mini Clothes Pin.  Gold Twine and Iridescent Sequins.  Adhesive Pearls.  Brutus Monroe White Alabaster ink.
Now to think of her gift.
Thanks for popping in.

  1. A beautiful and very fancy tag! I love everything about it, as I am sure your Mum will :-)

  2. This is so sweet and feminine. What a darling tag Donna! Stay safe and warm. That Nor-easter is supposed to be heading in our direction. Ugh!

  3. You have done it again! A sweet tag with lots of detail. You are the tag queen and I mean that in a very good way.

  4. It's a darling tag - reminds me of the days... in my grandmothers house - she had a similar 2-piece kitchen curtain with ruffles just like that. They lived in an "old at the time" Craftsman Home in S. CA. So your tag brought back thoughts of her home from when I was a little girl - what a nice way to start the day, Donna! Love the vellum tag, and the pattern paper in the background. Beautifully made, my dear Cape Cod friend! xo

  5. WOW that is a fancy little number and just perfect!!! Love all the feminine elements! You are so clever! I rarely make tags ... thanks for inspiration!

  6. Awe - ha ha. A tag with a skirt, how stinkin' cute is that!!! Just kidding, I know you didn't mean to have it be a skirt, it's just so sweet. That vellum is perfect here too!!!

  7. That is wonderful and I love how you added so many details to that elegant looking tag!

  8. very pretty tag, love the ruffled edge and pearls on it!!

  9. Gorgeous tag Donna! It's so pretty & feminine, & just perfect for our challenge.
Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
